Scorcher214 Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Alright, so mathmatically/scientifically speaking, the universe is bigger than we can fathom (expanding till it finally starts closing in on itself, creating yet another, big bang, so goes the theory). Even if only .1% of all the planets contain water, i still think that that is still a lot of planets.

micah1990 Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 No ,if you do a good amount of research, you will find out that they have had a plan since 1917 to have a fake alien invasion to establish a one world government, they tested this out in 1938 with the "war of the worlds" broadcast, it wasn't a joke to people back then, and 11 people died as a direct result of that radio broadcast. What people refer to as aliens are not from another planet, they are from another demension. Basic physics disproves the idea that they come from another planet or galaxy. Many of the top ufo researchers have concluded that these are spiritual beings, not physical.

Super User Raul Posted September 11, 2010 Super User Posted September 11, 2010 Yes, I do believe there are other planets with life in them; intelligent beings ? yes too, human like ? no, technologically superior capabale of traveling and visit other planets at their will and pleasure defying the laws of physics as we know them ? no, And aliens visiting us ? most certainly not.

Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted September 11, 2010 Super User Posted September 11, 2010 Armadillo helmets are far more effective....
Super User bilgerat Posted September 11, 2010 Super User Posted September 11, 2010 Armadillo helmets are far more effective.... Thanks a bunch SoFla. Wanna come and clean the snot from my computer screen now ?
done Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 yep I believe they are out there. Nope I do not believe they are galactic proctologists doing anal probes on everyone. I would think they would have a lot better to do than come anywhere near us. At best, they would set up some sort of galactic bleacher on the outside of our solar system and watch the show.
Super User K_Mac Posted September 11, 2010 Super User Posted September 11, 2010 A man can't buy a good armadillo helmet in this part of the country...
NateFollmer Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Heres my thoughts: What happened just about every time a country advanced their technology enough to discover new lands? (example: people coming to america and meeting indians) They killed them or moved them to crappy areas. Now what do you think happens to us of aliens make their way to our planet? We' re dead... Or moving to the moon, then dying.
Super User Raul Posted September 11, 2010 Super User Posted September 11, 2010 Nope I do not believe they are galactic proctologists doing anal probes on everyone. Man, you owe me a good keyboard/screen/mouse/desk clean up .... just spilled all my Coke all over them.
Captain Obvious Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 I can see we have a lot of very closed minded people here but what else is new. Nope just guys who know that there are a whole lot more important things in life then worrying about things that don't exists. Lets talk about real things like fishing or armadillo helmets.
Super User grimlin Posted September 11, 2010 Super User Posted September 11, 2010 Nope.....Won't explain why either because it gears more toward religious beliefs that make me think people are mistaken it for terrestrial creatures. IMO
Daddyodo Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Not sure and not sure I care. That is unless they can loan me a few bucks!!

NateFollmer Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2007/12/photogalleries/giantskeleton-pictures/photo2.html I'm sorry, I have a ton of these shopped pics saved and have been dying to use them...
B-Dozer Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Heres my thoughts: What happened just about every time a country advanced their technology enough to discover new lands? (example: people coming to america and meeting indians) They killed them or moved them to crappy areas. Now what do you think happens to us of aliens make their way to our planet? We' re dead... Or moving to the moon, then dying. Only one thing to do. Pack up your collection of bongs, and practice your moon walk.
NateFollmer Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 In all seriousness though. I'm not here to prove or disprove your giant theory. I know for a fact those are shopped. The angles are off in some areas and some of the shadows are crisper/blurrier than they should be (i got two big books on forensic photoshop techniques, I'm not claiming to be an expert but you can't 'shop a 'shopper ). Anyway I think we better swing this back on topic, it's getting religious...
Super User .dsaavedra. Posted September 12, 2010 Super User Posted September 12, 2010 not buying your giants theory, sorry.
Super User Dan: Posted September 12, 2010 Super User Posted September 12, 2010 Personally, I don't know if there is ET life. I'm surprised so many people have picked a side about something so questionable without much evidence. Why is "I don't know" an unacceptable response? Just because the size of the universe makes it PROBABLE does not make it so. Scientifically speaking, without empirical evidence there should be no reason to suspect their existence but on the other hand, there is a lot of unexplored space so there is no way to DISPROVE their existence. That being said, the most obvious answer to me is, "I don't know and neither do you."
