Super User Bassn Blvd Posted September 2, 2010 Super User Posted September 2, 2010 ALLEGEDLY TRUE These are actual comments made by 16 Police Officers that were taken off police car videos around the country: 1. "You know, stop lights don't come any redder than the one you just went through." 2. "Relax, the handcuffs are tight because they're new. They'll stretch after you wear them a while." 3. "If you take your hands off the car, I'll make your birth certificate a worthless document." (My Favorite) 4. "If you run, you'll only go to jail tired." 5. "Can you run faster than 1200 feet per second? Because that's the speed of the bullet that'll be chasing you." (LOVE IT) 6. "You don't know how fast you were going? I guess that means I can write anything I want to on the ticket, huh?" 7. "Yes, sir, you can talk to the shift supervisor, but I don't think it will help. Oh, did I mention that I'm the shift supervisor?" 8. "Warning! You want a warning? O.K, I'm warning you not to do that again or I'll give you another ticket." 9. "The answer to this last question will determine whether you are drunk or not. Was Mickey Mouse a cat or a dog?" 10. "Fair? You want me to be fair? Listen, fair is a place where you go to ride on rides, eat cotton candy and corn dogs and step in monkey poop." 11. "Yeah, we have a quota. Two more tickets and my wife gets a toaster oven." 12. "In God we trust; all others we run through NCIC." ( National Crime Information Center ) 13. "Just how big were those 'two beers' you say you had?" 14. "No sir, we don't have quotas anymore. We used to, but now we're allowed to write as many tickets as we can." 15. "I'm glad to hear that the Chief (of Police) is a personal friend of yours. So you know someone who can post your bail." AND THE WINNER IS.... 16. "You didn't think we give pretty women tickets? You're right, we don't.. Sign here." Quote
bweave09 Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 A buddy of mine got pulled over the other night for expired tags and he had a little bit of alcohol in the car (He isn't 21 yet). It was not opened and he claims he was cooperating. The officer was from Alcohol Law Enforcement and told this kid that he would like to see video of his mom beating his *** on youtube along with some other comments. I normally wouldn't believe that, but I had other friends in the car and they all spit it back verbatim. I'm sure 99% of police officers are great people, but these power hungry ALE people drive me up the wall. Quote

bigfruits Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 talk about power trips my brother had his face slammed into the hood of a Washington DC squad car. "he must have done something to deserve that" you say? the cop searching us and some friends had dropped his cell phone onto the street on purpose and my brother told him he didnt have to do that. this cop looked more like a DC thug than an officer. its a shame that the corrupt cops give the others a bad rap. Of course if he is an ALE agent in Wilmington, NC, then I take back everything I said and would like to know if you could help my buddy out ;D Quote
BadKarma42 Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 Those "quotes" have been around a while...although still funny. Quote
Super User bilgerat Posted September 2, 2010 Super User Posted September 2, 2010 Got stopped for speeding a few years back. When the cop asked me if he knew why he pulled me over, I said "Well, you don't have a gigantic cardboard check with my name on it for $1,000,000, so you aint the prize patrol. I guess I was driving over the speed limit a bit" He laughed and said something along the lines of "aint heard that one yet" and let me go. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted September 2, 2010 Super User Posted September 2, 2010 The only question is: Was the Perp shot "Resisting Arrest" or "Trying to Escape". 8-) Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted September 2, 2010 BassResource.com Administrator Posted September 2, 2010 Well, on the flip side of things, local law enforcement shot and killed car thieves on 3 separate occasions recently in my neck of the woods. All three took off and led them on dangerous car chases through crowded streets, produced weapons and/or shot at the police. Justice served. Quote
Super User skunked_again Posted September 3, 2010 Super User Posted September 3, 2010 law enforcement is now less about law enforcement and more about bureaucratic rules and regulations. was on a ride along with my brother and he pull over a car that rolled (or ran, depending) a stop sign, driver makes us follow him into a parking lot where said driver parks the car, exits the car, and chugs a 24 oz. beer in front of us. driver refuses to do a field sobriety test but said he would blow at the station. another car picks the guy up, takes the guy in where he blows hot of course. long story short, the guy got a ticket for open container........ GLADES Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Doug, what kind of SO cruiser do you drive? I got passed by a green hood scooped Hemi PBSO doing about 150 this morning on the turnpike. I didn't mind cause I was doing 85. Quote
Super User Bassn Blvd Posted September 4, 2010 Author Super User Posted September 4, 2010 I'm in an unmarked that tops out at 85-90 before the governor shuts you down. Quote
Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted September 4, 2010 Super User Posted September 4, 2010 I had a BSO officer blow by me on I-75 last night. Posted limit is 70, most people do 80-85. It was like I wasn't even moving when he flew past. Quote
