Oh hell yeah.

New shotgun came in on Friday last week.  Doves will be a good warm-up  for geese and ducks in the coming months.

I look forward to 9/1 every year.   ;)

Always excited about Sept. 1.  Also looking forward to the 4th, shoot a few birds in the morning and grill them up that afternoon while watching the Vols beat the snot out of UT-Martin. ;)

September 1st is only eight days away. Is anyone else getting excited?

It's hard to get excited when you live in a state that considers them the birds of peace, love, and all things good in life.

They've been sitting on the telephone lines across the road all summer.  When should I go out and scare them to south for you?

I look at them that way too.

Then I realize how delicious they are and I squeeze the trigger three times.   ;)

Right now! And try to scare them a little to the west as well.

i wish NY would realize that doves should be hunted, i see them at the bird feeder all the time and could get at least 6-8 a day easy
