Sarg, I prepare by letting a guy hunt behind my house.

Last year he bagged 11.

He came by last week and saw two bucks.

I see does all the time so he will have another great year and we can eliminate some pests.  :)

I am putting up stands and making ground blinds now.

I use Spitfire 100g with great success. H3ll of a blood trail.

Got 6 last year, 3 with gun and 3 with bow.

Man, I can't wait. I shot my first 8 deer with a bow way back when I was 12 and 13 years old. Dad wouldn't let me hunt with a rifle till I was 14 so I asked him to buy me a bow. It was a 50lb max draw Bear. I taught myself how to shoot and hunt. Now I shoot a Mathews Outback with an Ultra Rest. I'm trying Rage broadheads this year but I think I'm going to miss my Grim Reaper's. If anyone has some 100gr Grims laying around I'll buy them off of you.

Been shootin my Browning Bow...that thing is SWEET!  Put out some corn and a few cameras last week.  Jumped two does on my way out there, so that got me excited.  Going to check my pictures this weekend.  Last year I killed a 10 pt. that scored 165 B&C and he was the 3rd biggest deer we had pictures of, so Im looking for the 200 class daddy this year! :D

Your a good man Sam,

Thanks for letting a hunter do what we love.

I wish there were more people like that, around where I live, if you don't own/lease land your out of luck. Unless hunting public land, which can be very upseting!!!

GrimReapers and Slick Tricks is all I shoot. You are going to love those Rage heads, if the shot is put where it belongs, the blood trails are simply amazing!!! My hunting buddy killed 4 does with Rage heads and none of them went over 30 yards.

Yeah they look sweet, I'll most likely buy a pack during the season.
