What kind of fish is that? I cant really tell from that angle. Great pic, thanks for sharing.

Young catfish? That's my guess. As for the snake, water snake?

catfish and copperhead snake..as best we can tell some say brown water snake but when we looked it up most of the pics we saw resembled a copper head..

The fish looks like a catfish of some sort.  The snake looks like a Colubrid of some sort, probably a corn snake, since their patterning is highly variable.  Its not a copperhead, that's for sure, head shape is all wrong for a pit viper.

Fully agree.  The head is the wrong shape for a Copperhead.

The fish looks like it could be a catfish like previously mentioned.  Or it may be a young carp as well.
