Super User burleytog Posted July 13, 2010 Super User Posted July 13, 2010 Box was almost completely crushed. Luckily it contained well-packed crankbaits that suffered no damage. Quote

Super User roadwarrior Posted July 13, 2010 Super User Posted July 13, 2010 It was LBH. ;D ;D ;D ;D p.s. A few months ago I had a rod delivered to the office. Our mail box was a few inches short, but the didn't stop USPS from making delivery! Fortunately, the rod was flexible enough to survive. Quote
frogtog Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 Yep LBH for sure, he's the only one small enough to sit on that box. Quote
Super User Wayne P. Posted July 13, 2010 Super User Posted July 13, 2010 FedEx has some package handling gorillas too. This is a box that contained a sonar unit that was returned after repair. It had to be sent back for repair again. Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted July 14, 2010 Super User Posted July 14, 2010 LBH was a former moderator on this site. He has since moved on to other things. Quote

Hook Set Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 UPS delivered a package to my house today, I was sitting on the couch and heard what sounded like a brick being thrown at my storm door, luckily the packing peanuts took most of the grunt! I usually have good luck with them ,never had anything broken...yet. Quote

Super User SirSnookalot Posted July 14, 2010 Super User Posted July 14, 2010 Been lucky with all shipments from fed ex, ups & usps, but usps ticked me off. My daughter mailed a kindle to my wife, too big for mailbox, the mailman was lazy and didn't bring it to the door, just left it on top of the mailbox streetside, could have easily been stolen. Quote

FYI... my dad works for the post office(mechanic not postman).. They do not have to get out... they are allowed to do what he did and if you have a nice postman he will get out but everyone has a bad day now and then... Ours has skipped our neighbors house if his car is too close to the box.. Quote

Ok, how about my a**hole mailman who flies up my driveway with two tires on the concrete and two on the grass, leans out the door of his little truck and bounces my packages off my garage door? > Are they allowed to do that as well?
