bigfruits Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 Geez... Does this ever end? Real football starts in a couple of weeks. Thank God! : you have watch the tv for 3hrs for 1hr of game time! Quote
tyrius. Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 Real football starts in a couple of weeks. Preseason football is LAME!!! The games mean nothing and the real players barely even step foot on the field. I'm very happy for the world cup. Otherwise there wouldn't be ANY sports worth watching during the summer. Quote
Jake. Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 Germany really missed Müller yesterday. They just coudn't get the counter-attack going like they had against England and Argentina. Özil not having his best game didn't help either... Quote
Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted July 8, 2010 Super User Posted July 8, 2010 Very true. I was really hoping for a better match. Spain looked pretty lackluster as well. That header from Puyol was just beautiful though. Quote

Skunked in DR Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 Really hard for Germany to look good when they never had the ball. Spain's passing, especially 2nd half was beautiful to watch. Quote

It's got to be tough to keep your nerves under control when you're that young and playing in a World Cup semifinal. He did show his talent and potential in the earlier games though. I'm just hoping Manchester City can make a deal for him before some other team does. Quote
Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted July 11, 2010 Super User Posted July 11, 2010 Simply an atrocious game. The goal by Iniesta was nice. I can't believe Robben didn't score on either of his chances. Spain deserved the win though. The Dutch were hammering them all day long. They should have been down to 10 men early in the game with that flying judoesque side kick. At least the third place game was worth watching. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted July 12, 2010 Super User Posted July 12, 2010 A couple of posts have been deleted...totally inappropriate. I can take the ribbing, but the subject matter didn't work. Back to the World Cup! Quote
lazeebum Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 Between bicycle races and soccer I think my tv is a piece of @#$#. Thank God for my motorcycle and bass boat. Quote
aut0 Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 I was rooting for 3 teams this year: USA (of course), Netherlands, and Germany. (I was stationed there a few years back.) My signature sums it up. Quote
