soccplayer07 Posted January 29, 2010 Author Posted January 29, 2010 have you tried a Man O' War??? Very strong, distinct flavors. I can only smoke it after a full meal and several glasses. http://www.cigarsinternational.com/proddisp.asp?item=CS-MWB&stext=man Quote
Super User Dan: Posted January 29, 2010 Super User Posted January 29, 2010 I was not a fan of either of the Olivas that I've tried. Aaron, what about these? Quote
Super User Dan: Posted January 29, 2010 Super User Posted January 29, 2010 Nick, it seems like you might like full flavored cigars. Try 5 Vegas' "A" series. Fairly cheap and pretty good. When I first started smoking cigars I got a 5er of 5 Vegas Golds, and didn't care for those at all. Then after a while I got some 5 Vegas Miami's and those are a real peppery cigar. Like heavy pepper. Still have some of those sitting in the bottom. Since then I just have been wanting to try other stuff and haven't bought anymore 5 Vegas. The A's are a good maduro, give them a shot. I forgot to mention when I said the Miamis were really peppery, that I don't like a cigar with that much pepper. I'm sure some do but just not my cup of tea. haha But I'll have to try those thanks! I knew what you meant. I wouldn't really call the Series A "peppery." Quote
Super User Dan: Posted January 29, 2010 Super User Posted January 29, 2010 stunning...show off! I just saw them on Cigarbid's home page. Quote
-nick- Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 Aaron, what about these? Those look sexy. I've been wanting to try some Padilla Habanos for a while now. Anyone else tried one? Quote

Super User Root beer Posted January 29, 2010 Super User Posted January 29, 2010 Holy Crap! My dad called me while he was in Knoxville today and said he bought me a cigar that I've been wanting to try. Long short story, it's a Padron! I don't know when I get a chance to smoke it since it blowing snow outside. If it was clear outside I would start a little bonfire, then old man and me will sit around it and smoke. Quote

Super User Dan: Posted January 30, 2010 Super User Posted January 30, 2010 I have a Colibri Profusion but I'm not fond of it. I'm hoping to relpace it with a Bugatti or Xikar soon enough. Quote

I went through 3 Colibri using triple refined butane. Just don't last. Did some looking around after the third started crapping out on me and found the blazer to be one of the most reliable. Plus it looks sweet being clear and all! http://www.heartfeltindustries.com/proddetail.asp?prod=PB_207crC Quote
braveheart Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Been smoking handmades for about 2 years. I've probably got between 200-300 right now in my humidors. Buy 90% on line from C-Bid, Holt's, Thompson, Cigars.com. I like many brands, but my favorites are Illusione, Fuente Anejos, Liga Privada, Tatuaje, Cabaiguan. I've tried several Opus x cigars, and while I think they are good, they are not worth the price IMO. Quote
1inStripes Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Its been since college that I smoked a cigar, so what happened to just using matches? Quote
Super User Dan: Posted January 30, 2010 Super User Posted January 30, 2010 Its been since college that I smoked a cigar, so what happened to just using matches? Ever try lighting a cigar with matches in the wind? Virtually impossible on a boat. Torch lighters are almost impossible to blow out so they are great when its windy. Quote
