Super User Hammer 4 Posted July 4, 2010 Super User Posted July 4, 2010 Just got a new laptop last week. Every site I visit has been loading pretty quick compared to the old out dated laptop I had been using for the last 4 yrs..Anyway, as of yesterday 7/3..BR began loading Really slow..slower than it ever has. I've cleared the cookies, ect..to no avail. Anyone else having issues with BR loading extremely slow..? BTW, I tried everything I know, before posting this.. Quote

=Matt 5.0= Posted July 5, 2010 Posted July 5, 2010 Slowest loading site on the internet for me. Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted July 5, 2010 BassResource.com Administrator Posted July 5, 2010 The site is moving really fast for me. About 7 months ago we had an issue where some people were experiencing slowness when others weren't. It turned out to be a bad router at the host provider's end. So folks, just like the last time, help me figure out what's going on. If you're experiencing slowness, please do the following: 1. Go to http://winmtr.sourceforge.net/winmtr_bin.zip 2. Choose to Open the file when prompted. (The Zip utility on your computer should open the zip file and show the contents.) 3. Extract the file contents to a folder on your computer. To perform a traceroute using WinMTR: 1. Locate the file where you extracted the zip file. 2. Click the "WinMTR.exe" file. (The WinMTR window opens.) 3. Enter bassresource.com in the Host field. 4. Click "Start". WinMTR begins sending packets to the IP address. 5. When the "Sent" number reaches 50 click "Stop". 6. Finally, copy from the clipboard and send a paste of this report to me via PM. Thanks!! Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted July 6, 2010 BassResource.com Administrator Posted July 6, 2010 Note you will need to do the above WHEN you are experiencing the slowness! That's critical. Thanks! Quote
Super User Hammer 4 Posted July 8, 2010 Author Super User Posted July 8, 2010 Seems to be moving right along today... Quote
Super User fishfordollars Posted July 8, 2010 Super User Posted July 8, 2010 Yep, it's ok. Waiting on it to slow so I can work through Glenn's info, but it probably won't now that we are working on a cure. Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted July 8, 2010 BassResource.com Administrator Posted July 8, 2010 The problem seems to have cured itself, which lends me to believe a router was going bad at the host provider and they fixed it. Quote
