nationals game???

not a huge baseball fan but living in the nations capital it's hard to ignore all of the hype surrounding tonight's game. I think Strasburg looks very good thus far. Any thoughts???

some of his curve balls have been nasty, pretty impressed so far too. Homerun was a bad pitch but had to get the first one out the way lol

I really wish I still enjoyed baseball.  As a kid it was great, then they did the whole strike thing and I just lost it.  I'll watch a game every now and then, but eh it just doesn't do it for me anymore.

Sure hard to ignore all the hype about this kid though, it's been all over the sports radio down here.

it was tough to find. i finally found it on MASN 2 (channel 1) non HD...sucks. I hate when games get blocked out. They had the O's game on MASN 1 (HD)...how does that work???

the orioles have an agreement with MASN that if theyre playing at the sametime as the nationals then the nats get pushed to MASN2 basically

14k's in 7 is pretty amazing.  Hell of a start for that kid's career.  Hopefully he stays healthy and has a nice long career.  Baseball needs another real superstar again.  Not to mention that the Nationals finally have something to cheer about.

Not trying to take anything away from the kid, because it looks like he may have the mental discipline to succeed, but I believe Pitt was hitting .227 as a team.

That doesn't matter that much. To average 2 strikeouts an inning against ANY team in his VERY FIRST game is remarkable.
