If clothing manufacturers would make all their clothing in the same sizes? Carhartt jeans, 34 waist fit great. Wrangler jeans, 34 waist swallow me whole. Large Under Armour shirts fit great, Nike Dri-Fit large fits like a UA Medium while the Nike XL fits like a UA XL.

It's insanity...

Even with the same brands, after one washing I will have two of the same kind (pants or shirts) fitting differently; or should I say not fitting.

Shirt tails.....I usually by tall T's and polo's because the shirt tails always shrink up.  One washing and I feel like I'm wearing one of them cut off shirts that were popular back in the early and mid-eighties.  I hate shrinkage!

Most of my polos do that, Either they shrink length wise and I have a mid drift shirt or the sleeves shrink up and now I am wearing a tight shirt, but only in the arms.

I have given u drying clothes and just line dry them now.

it would be nice if I could fit in a size 34.   ;D

I like to order my work boots online.  I have been wearing the same exact brand and model for like 8 years now, two seperate pair.  But now they don't make that model anymore.  So my next pair will be the same brand but different model, it will be interesting to see if they fit when I order the same size but different model.  They are Georgia boots in case your interested.  They are broke in out of the box and take a serious beating.  I do alot of welding, grinding, cutting, and other shop work, they last, simple as that.

This it the response I can picture burley giving if someone else posted this...

Burley: It's simple... get off your lazy *** and go to the changing room. That's what you get for not trying them on

lol. Can totally picture that. :D

Well, regardless of whether they are consistent, at least you can find clothes your size.

38X40 pants arent as easy to find as you might think.

Burley, you are so right.

Even my wife complains about women's clothing sizes, too.

There is no standard as to what size is what size. When you have manufacturing plants all over the world, except in the good ole USA, you will have major differences.

Same for fishing hooks. One manufacturer's 1/0 may not be same as another's 1/0 and on and on and on.

We need to make Burley Emperor to get all this corrected.  ;D   ;D   ;D
