Super User Gone_Phishin Posted May 17, 2010 Super User Posted May 17, 2010 Anyone else hungover today? I really tied one on last night/this morning. I hadn't been out for some time, so my tolerance is quite laughable. The double Beam & cokes and White Russians didn't help. Quote
Super User Fishing Rhino Posted May 17, 2010 Super User Posted May 17, 2010 I could never figure this out. Our older daughter goes to Daytona with us for speed weeks. From time to time, she imbibes too many White Russians. Consequently she is up a few times that night, puking her guts out. Is boozing it up really worth the aftermath? Quote
NewAngler Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 Wanna hear a white Russian joke? what's the difference between a white Russian and Alex Ovechkin? the White Russian has a cup. wakka wakka. Quote

Luckily I am not a puker...I got that out of the way in high-school. LOL. On the other hand, in my experiences, there have been many times where it was worth the next day hell. These are in the minority, but man, too many classic stories from these booze-fueled parties/sporting events/nights/etc. Quote

Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted May 18, 2010 Super User Posted May 18, 2010 Or just don't get blasted. I've done the whole can't remember what the hell happened last night routine. It's not cool. I woke up in some chicks bed without any idea how I got there. Needless to say an uncomfortable situation ensued. Just be smart when you go out to drink. Theres no need to get tanked. Have a few drinks, have a good time, then cut yourself off. Your wallet will thank you later. Quote

Super User burleytog Posted May 18, 2010 Super User Posted May 18, 2010 I certainly don't miss those days. My worst was after a bottle of Bushmills and a six-pack of Redhook beer. Quote
CRFisher Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 Microwave pizza and a gatorade before bed never fails. That and a foot on the floor to stop the bedspins. Quote

As we get older, things aren't as easy as they used to be. I can remember several times when I only had 2-3 beers, and felt like crap the next day. Quote
Super User Sam Posted May 18, 2010 Super User Posted May 18, 2010 Gave up drinking cold turkey in 1968 when I crawled up the stairs to my BOQ from the Officers Club in Fort Mead, Maryland. Woke up the next morning and got ill smelling the gin coming from my pores. Drink no more. Feel better. Don't act like a total *** although I do still have my moments according to my wife. Please consider stopping drinking. It will catch up with you as you get older. And you can't perform in bed if you are drunk. Not a good way to impress girl friends or wives. Quote
