Super User bilgerat Posted May 4, 2010 Super User Posted May 4, 2010 This is from 1979 but still amazing anyhow. All aboard survived and the tug was for the most part intact afterward. Interesting story after the pics.... http://www.dancetc.com/towboat.html Quote
Super User Sam Posted May 4, 2010 Super User Posted May 4, 2010 Thanks for sharing. You can't control water or electricity. What gets me are the number of boaters who have very little of water safety and do not wear PFD. Good reminder of what water can do. I bet there were some surprised guys on that tugboat. Was the bridge damaged? Quote
Super User bilgerat Posted May 4, 2010 Author Super User Posted May 4, 2010 Was the bridge damaged? Yeah, several years later when it was demolished after a higher replacement bridge was built nearby Quote
Super User firefightn15 Posted May 4, 2010 Super User Posted May 4, 2010 I noticed up until the collision there were people in the frame, but not after. 8-) Quote
