Wasn't able to watch the entire 1st round of the draft and I missed my team's pick. Just got home and found out that my Packers picked OT Bryan Bulaga from Iowa.

I'm happy about the pick...finally someone who can help keep Rodgers off his back.

So after the 1st round...are you satisfy with your team's pick?

I'm certainly happy with the Seahawks first pick: Russell Okung!  The 'Hawks sorely need help with the O-line, so this is definitely a big step in the right direction.  I think there was a collective cheer in the pacific nw when they called his name. I expected him to go before the 6th pick, but the Chiefs pulled a surprise move and left him on the table.  Woo Hoo!!

They also picked safety Earl Thomas.  Although I think there are higher priorities for the Hawks (like a center), Thomas looks to be a game-changer kind of player.  So I'm looking forward to seeing his contributions.

im happy with greshem..hopefully we'll have a te that can be a playmaker. also think dunlap was a good pick in the second round. shipley can hopefully help out our passing game that struggled last year and ghee could be a good back up to two of the (imo) most underrated corners in the league (hall and joseph). happy so far, now maybe a safety

I think the Carolina Panthers did pretty good picking the quarterbacks and wide recievers that they did.  It will be interesting to see who is going to be the starting quarterback next year.

I'm good with the Cowboys pick of Dez (not that we needed another WR) but best available player and JJ Really wanted him. 2nd pick of MLB should put writing on the wall for B Carpenter who can go to dolphins and B. Parcells now. 8-)

Vikes blew it by not taking Clausen. Who's gonna take over for Farve in 2011?

I love the Chiefs, Seahawks and Lions drafts. Dez, Spiller, and Bulaga will be good fits I think.

As a packer fan also, im pretty happy in our picks.

Personally our 1st round on bulaga is a great choice. I hope we get him thrown into the game this year. Protecting rodgers and keeping him off the ground will be the first step for us this year.

Then once we do that i think we can work in our new tight end! Huge guy, 6'4' 250 i believe. I think he will be a good off set play for us to switch it up and get those 3rd and longs.

I did alittle research on the rb, and watched him run. He seems like a running back/fullback more than anything. While hes not slow hes not as fast as grant. BUT! This is sort of a good thing. Because several times we have been on the 5 yard line to score and we are forced to throw it in because it always seems grant always has a hard time at these times. So now we can just bull it in.
