Super User Redlinerobert Posted April 16, 2010 Super User Posted April 16, 2010 It's true. He's having it in a couple weeks, it's a preventative measure. Regardless, it's a major surgery, and according to the lil guy all should be well by the time he comes to visit me in a month. Quote

Super User RoLo Posted April 19, 2010 Super User Posted April 19, 2010 Russ, I was sorry to learn that you're dealing with coronary occlusion, but on the upside, the medical profession today has come a loooong way in this area. I live in a retirement community where bypass surgery is a very commonplace event. It goes without saying, you have my very best wishes at heart, but I'm confident that they won't be needed. You're going to be just fine my friend Roger Quote
Super User Sam Posted April 19, 2010 Super User Posted April 19, 2010 With today's techniques Russ will be fine. T&P to Russ and his family. As I understand the procedure, the recovery is the worst part plus the loss of such great food groups as cakes, cookies, ice cream, salt, candy, sugar, pies, jelly, cakes, and everything else that tastes good. Let us know when the surgery is over and keep us posted on your recovery. Quote
