They pull the javelin out(rocket launcher) and run around until they get close to someone, as soon as they die the javelin will shoot off, and if you are too close to them it will kill you every time.

You just got to try and kill them when they are still kinda far away.

I disagree with the riot shield hatred... I think it definately has it's place and it does take skill to use it correctly, personally I don't have the patience for it.

I have quit playing this game until the jav glitch is fixed, it seems now everyone knows it and does it constantly. 

Basically you hold down to throw a symtax then hit triangle to equip your javelin.  You run around and attempt to knife people and if they happen to kill you the jav detonates exactly where you die and kills pretty much anything near you.  Its an immediate detonation of a jav no delay nothing.

I just played a match where 5 of the people on the opposite team were doing this.

I really am quiting until this is fixed.

I was wondering how the (bleep) I died last night! I was looking out this window, and some guy comes running in with javelin and I shot him and still got blown away.. I was like how could he run at me and still fire the missile at same time? I accidentally skipped the kill cam to see how he got me, but I said some words that aren't allowed on here.

It was only time I experience this glitch. Guess I've been lucky enough to avoid a vast amount of idiots doing this. The only gun I truly hate is the grenade launcher. I'm sick of people running around the maps with grenade launcher available, and before you even fire a shot you're dead. Why did they have to make a challenge for the grenade launcher.  >

Yeah good on XBL for doing that, but PS3 wont so I'm stuck until they patch it...

I can deal with noob tube users, as it is a viable tactic and works the same way as the actual weapon.  But exploiting the jav bug just upsets me.

The camper thing is getting old for sure. I just flashbang/stun grenade them and hit the area with the sticky grenade If all else fails spray and pray.

The other thing that gets me mad is the riot shield players. I think they lack skills to play normally. One night a guy had 35 kills using that stupid riot shield. I did figure out when they charge you can roll to the side and stick them with your knife. It's not 100% but you have a better chance. Or shoot them in the feet if they are not crouched.

LOL, I always have a gun in my selection with a grenade launcher for this very reason. Works 100% of the time. Or symtex. Sticks right to the shield. ;D

I've fought alot of people that use that Javelin thing.  I just leave the game and find another.

I don't know how to do it but I saw a guy do it on the killcam. Somehow he was laying down in a rock and could see out through it. We couldn't see him but he sure could see us. I think we could still kill him with grenades and airstrikes but it really was annoying. It was back by the area with the flak cannons.

I have no idea. I just play the game and try to have fun. This one was weird. When the guy would get close to you I would freeze like he hit me with a stun grenade. He ran up and stuck me with the knife. I watched his kill cam replay and he did it to three other people on the team before me in a matter of seconds. It happened a couple of times and I left the game.

Yep I saw someone do it over the weekend on Afagn. You can still blast them.

My xbox warranty is expired. Just waiting for money to get a new one. If I get it repaired it cost close to same price as a arcade xbox.. I figured I get arcade or used and just put my hard drive in it.

Check around in your local area ( craigslist and such ) there are people around here that fix xbox 360 problems such as rrd for around  30 bucks.

Current generation consoles are nothing more than pc's.  You can do lots of stuff to them, I had a PS3 that I modified to boot slackware(linux).  I haven't messed with any hacks, but I've had friends that say they did. From what I understand MS eventually caught up with them and banned the console ids.

Just keep calling them, if it's the first time for the ring of death you will eventually talk to someone who will tell you to send it in for free.  You just won't get that same console back.

Naw, you take your hard drive off all you send is the console.  Just keep calling and you should get someone that says send it in for free, they email you a label, you provide a box to ship it to them.  I think mine was out 3-4 months when I got the ring of death. They know about the problem you will honor it even out of warranty, b/c it's such a big problem, you just have to find the right person that cares about their job.

The new one comes back with the full warranty, I think 3 years, for the ring of death.

If it's anything else besides that I believe it's 100 bucks.
