Super User South FLA Posted April 11, 2010 Super User Posted April 11, 2010 Congrats to Phil for winning his 3rd Masters Its nice to see him pull through especially with his recent family issues. Quote
b.Lee Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 I like Phil, nice to see Tiger still place high despite all the recent things. Quote
Super User Marty Posted April 12, 2010 Super User Posted April 12, 2010 I'm a big fan of Lefty and was glad to see him win. I had my doubts about him winning more majors after his meltdown at the U.S. Open a couple of years ago. Quote
soccplayer07 Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 great tourney! still amazes me that Tiger can do this well given everything and his long time off... Quote
Rebel Angler Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 The Masters was awesome this year! I've always been a Phil fan so I'm really glad he won, but especially this year since his wife is sick. Those back to back eagles were crazy! I freaked out when he ALMOST went back to back to back. Those shots were on point. Quote
ring fry Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 I was rooting hard for Watson and Freddie. Freddie had his chances but I couldn't root against Phil. Quote
Super User Sam Posted April 13, 2010 Super User Posted April 13, 2010 When he hit that shot at full power between the two trees I said to myself, "Myself, he is on his game and he is going to win this thing." And he did. Great guy and I am happy for him, his family and all of golf. We needed a good guy to win the Masters this year. Quote
Tokyo Tony Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 I'm glad for Phil in light of his recent family issues; however, I'm not a fan. He seems like a phony. Not sure if he is, but he seems to be one. That said, he plays pretty well 8-) Quote

GQ magazine a few years ago did a piece on the most hated athletes by their peers and Phil was the "winner" for golf. But he's popular with the fans. http://www.gq.com/sports/profiles/200601/most-hates-athletes Quote
shootermcbob Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 I am happy Phil won. The scene where he was hugging his wife and they were both crying was really touching. Quote
ArcticCat500 Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 Im happy Mic pulled it off, and Im even happier it wasnt el Tigre. If you or I were playing more then 18 holes off the course we'd be high fiving all our buddies...this wingnut gets into some dummy sex rehab...com'on guys lets get with it. Congrats Phil Quote
tnbassfisher Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 I'm not a Tiger fan, and never have been much a fan of Phil's for some reason. I'm glad he won, and I really like watching him play. But there is just something about him that doesn't come off well to me when I hear him speak. Now, he might always be very sincere in what he is saying, but sometimes he just sounds like he is telling the reporters what they want to hear. Just my two cents. Quote
