Anybody keeping up with the tournament? I watched them play Tuesday night and it was hilarious. I guess that's why they call it the NIT. ;D

Well, if the NCAA tournament expands to 96 teams like they are discussing, then the NIT (if it is still around) would be filled with Junior Colleges and maybe some really good high schools. You think it is fun to watch now, wait until then.

That reminded me of this.....

Man, that was good!  I watched a few other OSN clips and they are funny.

As a Duke fan, I hate to admit this, but I'm pulling for UNC for the first time in my life.  I want the Tarheels to have a reminder hanging in the rafters of the Dean Dome about this horrible year. ;D

And, it will be great to have the NCAA and the NIT champtions both from the ACC this year! ;)

Stop hating on them Tar Heels!!!!

;D

We have still got to be one of the greatest basketball programs there ever is in the history of college basketball.

8th seed Villanova was the lowest ranked seed to ever win the tournament.

Expanding the field would be for money, not for added competition.

Note to those who are on the Tarheels.

Nothing will motivate a team more than allowing the tradition to slip on "your watch" so to speak.

This does a few things for the Heels.

It will keep these guys from leaving early for the draft, a problem NC normally has,

and ending the season shooting and scoring the ball better as a team can only build for next year.

An NIT banner hanging just might motivate this team to another run.

Too many kids with talent across the US.   BB can be played anywhere.

    Go Dayton, Go Butler!

How can you call yourself a DUKE fan and say that?????  As a DUKE fan I hope they never win another game ever.  And they will have a banner to hang it will say 2010 NIT runner-up.

Yep they do have a great history.  It's even better now that they had their worst season ever in the same year DUKE took the ACC title lead and Coach K tied Smith for most final four appearances.  ;)

Beast, thanks for setting me straight.  I didn't know there was a runner up banner! ;D  That's great! ;D  I have now repented from wanting UNC under any circumstance. ;)

Who cares about crowning the 66th best team in the nation ?

The 65 teams in the NCAA are not the 65 best in the nation because of automatic bids. You could make an argument that the 34 at-large bids are the best 34 teams remaining.
