bweave09 Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 I'm sure this has been posted before, but what is everyone's favorite beer? I'll start. Mine is probably the Loose Cannon Hops 3 Ale from Clipper City Brewing in Baltimore, Maryland. I'm also a fan of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, as it is widely available compared to many of my other favorites. I'm a hops guy. Quote
soccplayer07 Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 my everyday beer is good ole Bud Light. my favorite full flavored beer is New Castle. Quote
dave Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 Blue Moon Belgian White Fosters Premium Ale in the green can. Quote
bweave09 Posted February 24, 2010 Author Posted February 24, 2010 SoccPlayer, the Mexican restaurant next to campus in Columbia has 2 dollar new castles. I've been drinking a bunch lately. English beer with Mexican food, but its good stuff. Quote
fishinfewl Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 Iced cold Corona w/ a wedge of lime and salt. Delicious!!!! Quote
Super User J Francho Posted February 24, 2010 Super User Posted February 24, 2010 Fruit + Beer? That's a 3 point violation on your man card. Quote
dave Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 The Blue Moon is best with a slice of orange. Don't knock it til you've tried it. 8-) Quote
bweave09 Posted February 24, 2010 Author Posted February 24, 2010 I have heard the Blue Moon is best with an orange, but I prefer not to drink it either way. There is something about a wheat beer that I just can't do. I don't mean to offend you or your tastes, but Blue Moon is not for me. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted February 24, 2010 Super User Posted February 24, 2010 The Blue Moon is best with a slice of orange. Don't knock it til you've tried it. 8-) Actually, that might be the exception to the rule, I have had it. Much prefer the bottled, though. You don't get the effect from the sediments from draft. Also, its just as good without the orange. Quote
NewAngler Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 favorite beer... wow.. I went a year straight without having the same beer twice with the exception of getting hammered. I would get the mix and match 6 packs at Bloom, or Safewy and try a huge variety because I got tired of drinking the same ole' same ole'.... I've literally tried about 100 different beers, and my favorite is Yuengling. Quote

bmadd Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 I like a wheat beer. I don't care for BL Golden Wheat but I do enjoy a nice Blue Moon or Shock Top. Quote
Super User Dan: Posted February 25, 2010 Super User Posted February 25, 2010 not my favorite, but I just bought a 24 pack of Kirkland brand beer from Costco. The two varieties I've had so far were decent. I never knew that Costco had a house brand beer. Quote
NewAngler Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Abita Purple Haze. A very fine beer, Sam. I sampled a lot of louisiana best brewery while in 'Nawlins a few years back, fell in love. If youre ever in DC and have a few hours, atop by The Brickskeller Inn. Thousands of different beer, and enough abita to make you feel at home. Quote
Super User Dan: Posted February 25, 2010 Super User Posted February 25, 2010 my favorite is probably Dixie but I'm not too picky. Quote
Siebert Outdoors Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Fattire is one of my favorites. I really havent had a bad dark beer. Light beers I cant stand. Quote
