Super User Marty Posted February 25, 2010 Super User Posted February 25, 2010 I am selling allmy stuff because there is no way I'll ever fish again. Getting atleast another 12 inches but looking more like 24. I decided to try and embrace winter instead of fighting it and bought a pair of snowshoes a year ago. Since I did that, our snow has been below average. Try it, it works!! Quote
cwen Posted February 25, 2010 Author Posted February 25, 2010 in North Jersey. Good point about the snowshoes. I bought the BPS pro qialifier suit last year and it barely rained. Quote
D4u2s0t Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Where in north jersey do you live? I'm in highland lakes, the snow in my backyard right now is about to my knee lol. Been a brutal winter this year. Quote

bassnleo Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 We Lake Erie people usually get the blasts of snow.... We've been kinda lucky this year, the lake froze. Sorry but I have to do this: Quote
IwillChooseFreeWill Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Well we got another 4-5 nights in the upper 20s in my stretch of FL... which will push the spawn back until at least mid to late March unless we get a big and long heat wave with no cold breaks (not likely). Normally by now we are well into the brunt of the spawn and some smaller ponds that warm up quicker towards the tail end of it. Quote

That's one of those laws, isn't it. Like, if you are waiting for the phone to ring, just go to the bathroom. ;D Quote
Luke at Gouldsboro Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Northeast PA is bad too. Supposed to get up to 12" today (again). We didn't get much snow all winter, now in late January and February we are getting hammered. I feel your pain. Quote
