HAAAAA i lol'd!!!

i hate those type of geese. there are about 5 or 6 of them that hang out at the local park. they'll gladly take food from you but if you approach them they start hissing and spreading their wings and lowering their necks.

its hilarious because when they do that it terrifies the women and children. i just charge them when they do it to me and they run away ;D

We do not understand the power of a bird that is in attack mode.

I used to raise macaws and they can be very formidable opponents when they get upset. I had my favorite Blue and Gold chase my friend, an x-football player who still weighs around 250 pounds, out of my house.

Those wings flapping and the pinching bites will drive you away.

I talk to the ducks and geese when fishing as they know where the fish are. That is why Micro caught that six-pound beauty on the Chick River that he is using as his avatar.

If a goose can create such havoc, what do you think an eagle, osprey or turkey vulture can do with their claws and pointed beaks?

Guys, these are not canaries out there.  These are very strong and defensive animals that will protect their territories ;)

Any tips on how you get what you need from them.  You know, good cop/bad cop, or do you just make small talk until they're comfortable spilling the beans. ;D

When I was a kid we went to Jim Peck's Wildwood Park and I remember feeding a fawn peanuts out of my hand.  It was awesome until the fawn reared up and hooved me in the chest, knocking me on my adze.  That's what I got for running out of peanuts. ;D

Hahaha that's hilarious. I can't believe how calm the guy was after it happened WITH the same geese right near him. I would've wanted to kill that thing. haha
