Super User roadwarrior Posted February 8, 2010 Super User Posted February 8, 2010 Geez... These old timers are embarrassing. I didn't like them 45 years ago! Quote
Super User Gone_Phishin Posted February 8, 2010 Super User Posted February 8, 2010 I really like The Who...the original Who, and when they still had they're voices. This really is an embarrassment. Someone just lost their job. ;D Quote
Super User K_Mac Posted February 8, 2010 Super User Posted February 8, 2010 RW you read my mind. I was posting at the same time you were. This should be a cautionary tale for all the old groups who want put it together "one more time." Quote
Super User bilgerat Posted February 8, 2010 Super User Posted February 8, 2010 One of my favorite bands, but what ever happened to going out on top, quitting while you're ahead, keeping your dignity, not making an *** of yourself....... Quote
Super User skunked_again Posted February 8, 2010 Super User Posted February 8, 2010 Janet Jackson called and said d**n!!! Quote
Super User burleytog Posted February 8, 2010 Super User Posted February 8, 2010 You can thank Janet Jackson's nipple. The only people who watch the halftime show are those who couldn't care less about the game. Quote
Super User KU_Bassmaster. Posted February 8, 2010 Super User Posted February 8, 2010 I liked the timer in the background letting us know just how much longer we had to put up them. Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted February 8, 2010 Super User Posted February 8, 2010 They really sucked! Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted February 8, 2010 Super User Posted February 8, 2010 Wow. That was really bad. [edit]Removed political comment[/edit] Quote
frogtog Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 I didn't see it, I turned the channel and watched Dances With Wolfs. lol, I knew it was going to be just as bad as the pre game. : Quote
Super User Gone_Phishin Posted February 8, 2010 Super User Posted February 8, 2010 The commercials have been almost as bad as the HT show. From an entertainment standpoint, everything but the game has stunk: Carrie Underwood was awful; the commercials have been annoying at best; and The Who really should have pre-taped the show. Quote
Super User Micro Posted February 8, 2010 Super User Posted February 8, 2010 Queen Latifa needs to stick to her Cover Girl ads, and Carrie Underwood's only saving grace are her legs. Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted February 8, 2010 BassResource.com Administrator Posted February 8, 2010 I wouldn't call it bad so much as boring. It was just a lackluster performance. As for the commercials, nothing really stands out right now. Even the bud light commercials are dull. Quote
Super User Tin Posted February 8, 2010 Super User Posted February 8, 2010 I'm actually doing homework. With the exception of the onside kick, everything has been boring. Quote
Super User Dan: Posted February 8, 2010 Super User Posted February 8, 2010 what was wrong with Carrie? I thought she was good until missing a note at "brave" Quote

Super User Dan: Posted February 8, 2010 Super User Posted February 8, 2010 what was wrong with Carrie? I thought she was good until missing a note at "brave" what?!?! You can't tell when a note is off? awww, you're just ignorant! Quote
bmadd Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 The doritos don't touch my momma or my doritos commercial was HILARIOUS! About the only really funny one though... Quote
shootermcbob Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Great football game. I would be ok with just watching the game without all the rest of the crap. I thought the who were terrible and not one commercial was catching, imho. Did not Carrie Underwood, but I am willing to cut her some slack. ;D Quote
Super User K_Mac Posted February 8, 2010 Super User Posted February 8, 2010 It may have been the worst half-time show ever (there is some serious competition in that category) but the game was worthy of the name. The line in the Bud Light add where the guys all are hanging around the women's book club meeting is very funny. She asks, "do you like Little Women?" He responds, "I'm not that particular." Quote
Super User Dan: Posted February 8, 2010 Super User Posted February 8, 2010 Was it just me or did it seem like 80% of the commercials were for either CBS shows, Bud Light, or Doritos? Quote
VABassin'14 Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 I didn't think it was that bad. Its the Superbowl, I enjoyed it just like I always have and I always will. Quote
I Love BassResource Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Man i like the who, but that show sucked. Carrie Underwood did well, Queen whatever was a car wreck... Quote
