brushhoggin Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 Break it down for me guys, what's it gonna take to put the S back in Saints? They made it this far so i guess they sorta already have, but a win tonight would put it in stone. It would also be the ultimate symbolism of strength and regeneration for the city of new orleans. But the colts are pretty much juggernauts, and Peyton Manning is pretty much a jedi. Are the saints and saints fans relying on a false sense of destiny? Or can they pull it off? Geaux Saints. ma ladys already makin homeade hand grenades Quote
shootermcbob Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 Not sure who is gonna win. would like to see a good game. I like both organizations and both quarterbacks. Tough call. Quote

shootermcbob Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 If I had to pick, I think the colts will win. Thought the NFC title game was almost "too big" for the Saints. Not sure how they will fare in Biggest game. I also thought Payton called a very conservative game. That said, the Saints can score on anyone. I really think (and hope) that it is a close, hard-fought game. Quote
zero limit Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 Colts by 13. but dont really care who wins as long as my numbers in a pool come in. Quote

Geaux Saints. ma ladys already makin homeade hand grenades I'm rootin' for the Saints. But win or lose, don't expect instant respect. The Seahawks had a very dominate year en route to the Super Bowl, and had 5 consecutive divisional championships. But that only served to put their name in the headlines, but that's it. Nobody gave them credit. Sadly, that team has now plummeted to the bottom of the NFL just a few short years after their SB appearance. Let's hope that doesn't happen to the Saints. Quote
Super User Gone_Phishin Posted February 8, 2010 Super User Posted February 8, 2010 My god...The Who should have stayed home. I mean it's embarrassing. Quote

Or don't allow the Steelers to steal the game. Quote
Super User Tin Posted February 8, 2010 Super User Posted February 8, 2010 What a ballsy move! Sean Peyton is a nut. Quote

Super User Dan: Posted February 8, 2010 Super User Posted February 8, 2010 OMG Peytie-Poo, the Patton of the football field couldn't get it done. Wow. I hate the whole "who dat" hooplah but for some reason I hate the Colts more. I don't think many people had the Saints by 14 in this one... Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted February 8, 2010 Super User Posted February 8, 2010 What an awesome win, not only for the team but for the city. Quote
Super User Sam Posted February 8, 2010 Super User Posted February 8, 2010 I pick the Saints 31-14 with Archie crying on his way home. Quote
shootermcbob Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Congrats to the Saints. They were clearly the better football team tonight. Coached and played to win. Quote
Super User Tin Posted February 8, 2010 Super User Posted February 8, 2010 Great for the Saints But now we at BR have to listen to that dam Cajun for a whole year. ;D Where is Catt anyway? Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted February 8, 2010 Super User Posted February 8, 2010 THEY WON! THEY WON! THEY WON! MY SAINTS WON THE SUPER BOWL!!! Quote
Super User Tin Posted February 8, 2010 Super User Posted February 8, 2010 Is the 3 or 5 liter box of Franzia gone and is the Viking helmet on? lol Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted February 8, 2010 Super User Posted February 8, 2010 Happy to see the Saints win, but I don't think the best team won. The Saints were the best team on the field last night, and that's what counts. Super Bowl 111, Colts vs Jets, the best team lost. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted February 8, 2010 Super User Posted February 8, 2010 CONGRATULATIONS! Who 'Dat Nation! Who 'dat? Who 'dat? Who 'dat? Quote
Super User Catt Posted February 8, 2010 Super User Posted February 8, 2010 On this day, God wants you to know...pigs have flown...hell has frozen over...the Saints have won the Superbowl Quote
Uncle Leo Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 What a great game. In my opinion the Saints won due to team play. From Sean making gutsy calls to the players executing. Without a doubt the better team won based on heart and execution which wins games. KUDOS to the Who Dat Nation. Catt and Mike enjoy! It was 42 years in the making. I am sure your two ole coots have been fans for years. Quote

Super User Dan: Posted February 8, 2010 Super User Posted February 8, 2010 Wooo hoooo! Dat's Us! Where are all you colts raving fans now? There were never as many "raving" fans on the Colts side as on the Saints side. At least not here. Quote
