Thirteen, come on... Thats ludicrous, this kid has so much growing up to do. What if he has small hands and when he gets older and can't handle a college regulation ball lol. What is the reason, is he just a really good playmaker and has great vision?

I heard Steve Clarkson on the radio yesterday talking about this kid. He has coached Big Ben, Josh Freeman (Tampa- went to KSU I think) since he was 9, among MAtt Barkley.

He said Sills is the best he has EVER seen at his age in fundamentals, footwork and moving through his progressions. He has a ridiculous QB coach, and is probably going to be attending the most ridiculous quarterback college of all time.

Lane Kiffin = snake oil salesman.

I have never been a fan, but I am really disgusted by how he left Tennessee high and dry. After all his impassioned speeches, "this is the place for me, we love it here, we will win championships here, yada, yada, yada" If I were a kid or the parent of a kid, I would not believe a word that comes out of his mouth.

Pretty tame stuff. I am not even sure the point you are trying to make. I have no problem with him recruiting, as long as he follows the rules...which to this point he has not. He committed how many secondary violations at Tenn. last year???? We will see if anything else washes out of his stay there such as the "hostess" program??? I personally do not find him trustworthy. Being from Tenn. I would think you would feel the same way. Your comparison to the Ohio State coach trying, albeit in a lame attempt, to connect to the young man is not the same thing.

The difference between high school, college and the NFL is speed.

The kid can throw the ball but he needs to adjust to the speed. If he cannot do this, then he will be another also ran.

Look at all the high school QBs that cannot make it as a college QB and then look at all the college QBs that cannot make it in the NFL.

It will be interesting to see how this young man progresses and if he does play college ball how he will fare among men and not boys.  :)

Outstanding point Sam. Going along with what you have said, look at how many teams in the NFL are still looking for their franchise quarterback. Buffalo, Cleveland, San Francisco, Denver, Tennessee, Los Angeles, and Oakland right off the top of my head are still looking for a "franchise" QB.

Heck, they might want to start looking for a team first.  Looking for a QB is getting the cart a little before the horse don't you think?

OSU has committed over 500 secondary violations in Jim Tressel's tenure.

Secondary violations are pretty much meaningless.

Sills better spend some time in the gym or have a hellava O line else he's in for some major pain.

see my Tony Pike comment. 6'6 210- from the Cincy site...I doubt he's 190.

Freudian slip. The point is that there is a shortage of Quarterbacks, and the 13 year old who recently upped with USC is going to fight an uphill battle.

A simple Google search will provide you with all the information you need.

My number is a bit on the high side.  The actual number is probably closer to 400.
