fish-fighting-illini Posted July 6, 2008 Posted July 6, 2008 Man these are starting to get harder and harder to find. These are my number one bait. Everyone I've shown these to has had success with them. I was prepared to buy 100 worth of them yesterday and couldn't find enough to buy. Gander Mtn didn't have any and Dick's didn't have enough of the 3". I bought what they had. I need to learn some other techniques any way ( which I've been working at) but it is hard to say goodbye to an old friend. :'( Has anyone else had their favorite bait obsoleted? How did you react. bkoguy07 Posted July 6, 2008 Posted July 6, 2008 Lol the storm swimbaits in the color I want are getting hard to find but I bought tons last time i found them so I'm not lacking any. Have you checked walmarts? They seem to have more then BPS and any other place I've found... Quote
Super User T-rig Posted July 6, 2008 Super User Posted July 6, 2008 You guys must the be the only 2 buying these. Have a look on ebay, there are plenty of these. Quote

guitarkid Posted July 6, 2008 Posted July 6, 2008 The only storms I think about buying are the cranks and hardbaits. -searoach Quote
Super User Raul Posted July 6, 2008 Super User Posted July 6, 2008 If you mean these: TW has a bunch of them. Quote
Super User .dsaavedra. Posted July 6, 2008 Super User Posted July 6, 2008 lots of places around here sell them true value sells the most of them. they are actually VERY common in my area because i live on the chesapeake bay and these are a very popular bait for big stripers. Quote
bass wrangler569 Posted July 6, 2008 Posted July 6, 2008 my local target sells them. i'm not a big storm swimbait fan. I generally tend to stay away from lures that can be bought at true value and target. Quote

Thanks everyone and thanks for the TW check Raul I'd prefer to buy local when I can to save shipping charges. My Wally world had a fair amount but limited in colors. I have bought from customspinnersunlimited.com in the past but am having trouble getting their catalog to load. Quote
