JohnnyBigger Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 anybody paying attention to it? USF just got some of there top recruits to sign in Todd Chandler, and Terrence Mitchell. I would like to here what your favorite school has got so far................S.O.U.T.H F.L.O.R.I.D.A. SOUTH FLORIDA SOUTH FLORIDA GOOOOOOOOO BULLS!!!!!! Quote
1inStripes Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 UT made out well today. I would like to have seen a more help on the OL and DL, but overall Dooley done a very nice job in a short amount of time keeping most of the class together, and filling out the holes. Quote
JohnnyBigger Posted February 3, 2010 Author Posted February 3, 2010 HAHAHA yeah it does florida is whoopin em Quote
Super User Matt Fly Posted February 3, 2010 Super User Posted February 3, 2010 Texas has done rather well on the defensive side of the ball. I'm still waiting for Texas offense to get a big back that can tote the rock. We got some speedsters, but they haven't done squat thus far and our run game is lacking the past few years. Hookem Quote
Super User Sam Posted February 3, 2010 Super User Posted February 3, 2010 As of 5M on signing day from Rivals. List may change but not by much. 1 Florida 2 Texas 3 Auburn 4 USC 5 Alabama 6 LSU 7 Oklahoma 8 UCLA 9 Tennessee 10 Florida State 11 California 12 Penn State 13 Oregon 14 Notre Dame 15 Texas A&M 16 Georgia 17 Clemson 18 Ole Miss 19 West Virginia 20 Michigan 21 Missouri 22 Virginia Tech 23 Nebraska 24 Miami 25 Ohio State Quote
Helluva_Engineer Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 sucks to be georgia Tech got everybody we expected plus that late DB from Maryland. Good class on average, but we didn't plan for attrition well enough. Quote
Boett43 Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 Its pretty wild how accurate some of the highschool rankings come out to be like the espn 150 if you look at past ones they are usually filled with current NFL stars. Quote
shootermcbob Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 My Buckeyes got hammered on nat'l signing day. They lost out on every top recruit they were after. Apparently, beating Oregon in the Rose bowl was not enough to convince some of the top prospects to come to Columbus. RATS Quote
Super User Dan: Posted February 4, 2010 Super User Posted February 4, 2010 Apparently, beating Oregon in the Rose bowl was not enough to convince some of the top prospects to come to Columbus. RATS it didn't outweigh the loss to Purdue... ;D Quote
shootermcbob Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 OUCH! That could be true. The loss at home to USC hurt as well. I also think, that although it is usually winning football, the fact the buckeyes offense is so ...vanilla, predictable....boring has much to do with the fact we don't get great athletes banging down the door. Losing to Purdue hurt. Of course, we did beat michigan....Again. ;D Quote
bmadd Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 I was pretty happy with Dooley's class as well. UT got some pretty good athletes. Hopefully we can develop a QB out of the 4 that we have now. I think the Def. Coord. we signed today was a plus as well Quote
Ima Bass Ninja Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 it is my understanding that USC (south Carolina) got the #1 running back in the nation? That stinks as i am a Clemson fan Quote
Super User Sam Posted February 4, 2010 Super User Posted February 4, 2010 Jerk Bait Junkie, The addition of the running back gives the Ole Ball Coach more offensive options then he has ever had. But let's see what he does with all of this talent on the offensive side of the ball. It still is the South Carolina Gamecocks after all. ;D ;D ;D Quote

bweave09 Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 it is my understanding that USC (south Carolina) got the #1 running back in the nation? That stinks as i am a Clemson fan WE GOT MARCUS LATTIMORE! WE GOT MARCUS LATTIMORE! GO *****! I was going to post 34-17 until I saw your last comment. haha Spurrier even did the Cha Cha Slide with Lattimore's mother to get Marcus to play here. Desperate? Maybe. Now we have 4 running backs...I can't believe he chose Carolina with all of the young RBs we already have. This year is gonna be an interesting one. No Norwood, too many running backs, and a solid freshman quarterback. I can't wait till August...and of course November when we embarrass Clemsux again. Quote

First ,you need an offensive line to open up holes for those running backs and to protect that "solid"freshman quarterback or you"ll still be in the same boat as last year.. and yes they do get a win over us once about every ten years or so......and besides me living in Columbia its not like i don't hear about it every day, but i guess when beating a rival team is the highlight of your year you gotta do something right??...To bad they couldn't have a bowl win to brag about :'( :'(.....and Clemsux????please ..thats nothin compared The Carowhina Shamecocks... and any man that shouts GO *****!,,,, ;D ;D ;D ;D well i just gonna leave it there... :-X :-X lol ;D ;D Quote
