I was surprised not to see anything on this (maybe I'm missing it).

Why is Taylor Swift famous? I have NEVER heard her sound good on ANY show. She is down right awful. :( Studio doctoring?

Sorry Kent. ;)

Agreed......

I'm 35 so maybe I don't get it anymore but she sounds like a cat on a fence.    Carrie Underwood, Sugarland, etc.  thats understandable.

BTW  Bon Jovi sounded Horrible.  Sad to see Jon's vocal cords are not what they used to be.  He looked like he was in pain trying to sing "Living on a Prayer"

Well, the point I made before is that Taylor Swift

introduces a lot of young people to country music,

even though her music isn't really "country"! The

same can be said for Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts

and several others. However, they all have something

going on to be the top selling artists, like it or not.

I started watching the Grammy's, but quickly changed channels, just didn't like any of it at all.

I don't think it matters what genre she sings. P.U. (how come I can't find any smilies that fit here? ;D)

Pleasant to look at though.

I thought the best entertainment

was the performance by Pink. Man,

First of all, by no means am I a Taylor Swift fan.  I also agree that she sucks live.  However she is a pretty darn good song writer.  Telling stories, with substance, through song is kind of a lost art, and she does it pretty well for being so young.  So many artists just say the same thing over & over with different music.  She still sounds like a kid singing to me but at least she has the songwriting part down.  Hopefully her voice will catch up real soon & maybe she'll be a decent live performer some day.

I like Pink a lot. For whatever reason though, I really like Lady Gaga.
