Only BR is running poor on my computer, at times it's fine but mostly in the afternoon it's terrible.  I have tried IE, chrome and firefox the problem is the same.  I'm not an expert but I do know my equipment is working properly, it can only be a site or host problem.

it can only be a site or host problem

Or ISP.

Watch the load and you will see the problem. The site is having difficulty loading Google ads and it has been for a few weeks now.

If you double click the site it will come up faster.

Ok folks, help me figure out what's going on. Please do the following:

1. Go to http://winmtr.sourceforge.net/winmtr_bin.zip

2. Choose to Open the file when prompted. (The Zip utility on your computer should open the zip file and show the contents.)

3. Extract the file contents to a folder on your computer.

To perform a traceroute using WinMTR:

1. Locate the file where you extracted the zip file.

2. Click the "WinMTR.exe" file. (The WinMTR window opens.)

3. Enter bassresource.com in the Host field.

4. Click "Start". WinMTR begins sending packets to the IP address.

5. When the "Sent" number reaches 50 click "Stop".

6. Finally, copy from the clipboard and send a paste of this report to me via PM.

Thanks!!

I got to step 5 but no files were sent. Not sure if that's good or bad...

How do you do #3 enter br in the HOST FIELD?

Manually type  bassresource.com into where it says host field.

That means it's a bad router somewhere.  Send it to me, because that will help my host provider determine which router is causing the problem.

I feel like I've been switched back to dialup. It's only this site. So slow I Can hardly stand it. Took me 7 minutes to contact 4 buyers and give them their tracking numbers a few minutes ago.

I have experienced the slow loading too, when I connect through internet explorer.

A few weeks ago, someone suggested downloading the Opera browswer.  I tried it, and it does load faster than IE.

I was using IE today, and it was painfully slow.  Shut IE, opened Opera, and the site is loading fine.

There are times when IE does a better job than opera, particularly when MSN.com is on.  Click on sports, and it may not open.

But in most cases, it is better.

The free download is what I have, and it works fine for browsing.

I wish it were something as simple as a browser issue, as those are far more easier to diagnose and repair.  Unfortunately, brower issues were ruled out long ago.

this all started about the same time my avast! caught trojans trying to come through on google if that helps.

I must be the exception because it's working fine for me on my home computer and my phone. There have been no problems for me at anytime.

In the  early afternoon...it lags hardcore.I keep thinking I'm on a 56K modem...I ended up sending Glen that download thing he recommended to do.

But when i come home at 11PM this site is flying like DSL.

After i got hit with that trojan...My computer now has an extremely good virus protection.I'm not taking the chance anymore. :-[
