I have found the same. What I did was log out, as I am always logged in. I then log back in and it seems to help for a while. This has been happening on and off for 1 week now.

It has been slow for me too and I think for a lot of other people because I have been seeing a lot of double posts lately. It seems to load faster if you click the link wait 5 seconds and then click the link again. I am running a fresh install of Windows 7 Premium and Firefox 3.5.7. Same issues with IE8.

Seems to be slow most of the time lately.

Everything else loads fine. Maybe too much B.S. saved.  :D

Does that mean some of us have to go, LOL? Will it be the newbies, junior members, full members, or will Glenn just pick? Maybe he could make a reality show like "Survivor-Bass Resource" :D?

Sorry to hear about the problems you're having guys.  I'm a bit puzzled by it simply because I've spent the better part of 2 months optimizing the site and server to run faster and faster.  So I am a bit perplexed.

I can tell you one thing:  it has nothing to do with how many members we have on at any given time, nor the volume of pages (or BS lol!).  Since it's intermittent, it makes the problem very difficult to solve.  That said, I'm beginning to wonder if there's an issue at my host provider instead of the site or server, since I've done everything I can to make those faster.

I'll keep looking into this and see if my host provider has any answers.

I don't think it's the site.  I'm having the same problem no matter where I go on line,  I hit the button for a link, it partially loads and stalls.  Hit the button again and it finally loads completely.  I think it's the Chinese. :-/

I replied to this right after Pantera posted it, but I just got on. :(

Only kidding. :)

It's working pretty well for me. When this site is slow, every other site is slow for me. I think it's heavy traffic with my ISP.

Ok folks, help me figure out what's going on.  Please do the following:

1. Go to http://winmtr.sourceforge.net/winmtr_bin.zip

2. Choose to Open the file when prompted. (The Zip utility on your computer should open the zip file and show the contents.)

3. Extract the file contents to a folder on your computer.

To perform a traceroute using WinMTR:

1. Locate the file where you extracted the zip file.

2. Click the "WinMTR.exe" file. (The WinMTR window opens.)

3. Enter bassresource.com in the Host field.

4. Click "Start". WinMTR begins sending packets to the IP address.

5. When the "Sent" number reaches 50 click "Stop".

6. Finally, copy from the clipboard and send a paste of this report to me via PM.

Thanks!!

Just to clarify - run the report only when you're experiencing site slowness.

Thanks!!

I'm just a little frightened of machines that are smarter than I am; even my refrigerator scares me a bit. How do it know to turn the light on when I open the door?
