Boett43 Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 Headed out to my first day of class, car breaks down on an exit ramp. Bus gets stuck behind me and i get an earful from an angry bus driver. Call my verizon roadside assistance they tell me to call the police? finally get a tow truck out to my car 200$ tow , get towed to an autoshop and its not my battery its the alternator. now i have to find a ride to my second class of the day. i think i need a cigarette even though i dont smoke. I got verizon roadside assistance as well, and why are you asked to call the police? I tho they are supposed to handle it for you? :-? Quote

Which was more expensive than nromal becuae the police were called wow...this is not much of a service if you have to pay upfront, then wait 90 days to get your money back. JohnnyBigger Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 AAA is very good but not for me, my great grandfather started a towing company 63 years ago which my dad runs today and in florida the hwy patrol/sherrif rates are $100 flat. Quote
