bmadd Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 Well the Ravens showed up for a game today Ray Rice busting an 85 yd td on the first play from scrimmage and then the takeaway that led to another td. Where you at TIN??? Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Keri Posted January 10, 2010 BassResource.com Administrator Posted January 10, 2010 Can Brady play any worse I mean geesh this is going to be a blowout. Quote
Super User Matt Fly Posted January 10, 2010 Super User Posted January 10, 2010 Patriots have not been good on defense most of the year. No defense normally means early outs in the playoffs. Come on Pats, make it a good game!!! Would have never saw 24-0 first quarter score. Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted January 10, 2010 BassResource.com Administrator Posted January 10, 2010 Pats are overrated, and I'm glad it's finally showing. 8-) Quote
bocabasser Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 i thought the jets fans were pathetic, but the pats fans just showed them up. they were booing THEIR team and tom (by gawd) brady within the first 3 minutes of the game. classless. the era is over. Quote
Super User Grey Wolf Posted January 10, 2010 Super User Posted January 10, 2010 Another dynasty is over. Quote
ArcticCat500 Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 Dynasty? Now the NY Yankees are a Dynasty ;D I was glad to see the Patsy's get hammered today, finially shup up the annoying fans. Quote
llPa1nll Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Certainly was a tough game to watch as a Pats fan. Ravens out played and were more physical all game start to finish. Patriots need to overhaul their defensive line and line backers. However to be honest losing by trade or retirement the number of important character people that they did from last year to this year this wasnt really unexpected. Also for the Ravens to get pressure on Brady while only rushing 3 people is pathetic, at best. Edelman looked promising as a replacement for Welker, which I dont expect to see at all next year either. I had the Patriots barely squeaking by the Ravens and being throttled by the Chargers. One week early on the blowout, not too surprised. One thing I do have too take note with a Yankee fan calling Patriots fans annoying.... Really??? Quote

Brady will bounce back, in the next year or two he is simply too good, if you think the guy is washed up then you are letting your passion cloud reality. The two most annoying fans in my book are New York and Boston Area fans, many (not all) are arrogant and rude at games that I have attended down in Land Shark Stadium (Dolphin/Marlin Stadium). Quote

Super User Tin Posted January 11, 2010 Super User Posted January 11, 2010 It isn't surprising they have been a Jackyl and Hyde team all year. It won't be surprising to hear Brady and Wilfork having off season surgeries as they have been banged up most of the year. When your best offensive and defensive players are injured you won't go to far. Granted a team should be prepared for injuries and they have really screwed up in their draft picks and not resigning Asante Samuel. Shipping out Vrabel and Seymour led to leadership issues as well as defensive issues. All in all for what they had it wasn't a terrible year. I would be surprised to see Adalias Thomas and Randy Moss on the team next year. As far as classless fans, I remember the Dolphins fans wearing bags over their heads and booing during that 1-15 year two years ago. And Brady in post game interviews said we had the right to boo because they played awful. Quote

Kidding me?!? If I bought tickets and went to that game shelling out upwards of $200 or more. Then to barely get to your seats and see that its like 5 mins in and they are already down by 14 points. Then go on to have the quarter that they did. d**n, straight Id be booing them. Die hard fan, here, I can see a bad game, fine. However to get out played like they did shows lack of effort and heart. That was one thing the Pats never lacked in their previous SB wins was effort, grit, and heart. This team certainly isnt in the same caliber of teams, period. Quote
