Kenny418 Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 Well for some strange reason I decided to buy my playoff tickets for the Bengals game. So here is how much money I wasted today instead of placing another order from Tackle Warehouse. Ticket $110 Parking $17 Hamburger,Pretzel,& Mt. Dew in a plastic Bengals cup $17.25 Throw in $5 or $10 for gas. So to sum it up........ I paid about $150 to sit in 11 degree weather, freeze my #$$ off, and my team played bad enough to lose to a highschool team. I am so mad at myself. What a waste of time, energy, & tackle that i could have had. > :( > Quote
Super User firefightn15 Posted January 10, 2010 Super User Posted January 10, 2010 Well..........there's always your health! ;D Quote
Super User 5bass Posted January 10, 2010 Super User Posted January 10, 2010 Yeah, the Bungles really faded down the stretch. I was hoping they'd do a little better in the playoffs. Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Keri Posted January 10, 2010 BassResource.com Administrator Posted January 10, 2010 Hey be happy you got to go to a playoff game. I mean some of us are have a shape of an "L" on our foreheads. ;D Quote
Kenny418 Posted January 10, 2010 Author Posted January 10, 2010 Hey be happy you got to go to a playoff game. I mean some of us are have a shape of an "L" on our foreheads. ;D This is true. I am glad they turned around from last years 4-11,and they made the playoffs. How could you not play better though? They just played them last week. I guess the Jets just wanted it a lot more than we did. Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted January 10, 2010 Super User Posted January 10, 2010 You wasted nothing, you had the opportunity to see the game in person.......just disappointed with the outcome. Quote
THEbassmaster Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 i dono what was up with carson...but cedric, wow hes one of the best rbs in the game. used to have an amazing passing game n not much of a running game...now its the opposite. hopefully we dont lose many ppl for next yr and everyone gets healthy. done Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 Hey be happy you got to go to a playoff game. I mean some of us are have a shape of an "L" on our foreheads. ;D No kidding. Had to sit here all friggin season watching the Delhomme and Fox show throw (literally) away the entire season. Then to kick you when you are down he gets hurt. We bring in the backup and win every game once he is out. I would have LOVED to have a team worthy of playoffs. Quote
shutupnfish Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 All that for $150 ain't bad. Up in Big D, Jerry Jones gets $75-$200 just to park! Man what a deal! I'm sure location has much to do with it. Steve Quote

shootermcbob Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 They got outplayed by a better team. The Jets are playing well and gaining momentum. Unfortunately, the Bengals played their best football weeks ago. If you look back, they have not been the same team since Chris Henry got hurt. I think the emotional stress of losing Vikki Zimmer and then Chris Henry (and trying to honor them by winning every game) was, in the end, overwhelming. They made great improvements from last year to this. They have some holes to fill, but all signs point to them being back in playoffs again. You should be happy. Many folks, including myself, could never afford to go to a game, let alone a playoff game. That makes you one lucky rascal. ;D Quote

Super User MALTESE FALCON Posted January 11, 2010 Super User Posted January 11, 2010 Well, I've said before, and I'll say it again. " At least you aren't a Lion's fan" You at least had an entertaining regular season. I have dents in my family room walls, because of my Lions induced tantrums. Falcon Quote

Simp Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 I just prefer watching the NFL on the big screen in HDTV. A few years back I was lucky enough to go to the NFC championship game the Bears won. While it was a great time I can't see paying the ticket prices they charge for games when it's so great on TV. Quote

Kenny418 Posted January 11, 2010 Author Posted January 11, 2010 Ok. I guess I have calmed down a little from the loss. At least we did make it to the playoffs. Something they do not usually do. We had a good season with some exciting games. Can't wait to see what next season brings. Hopefully another playoff game. Or maybe 2. Quote

Kenny418 Posted January 12, 2010 Author Posted January 12, 2010 Yes it did. That's why we were so disappointed with Saturdays game. I feel we have a better team, just couldn't pull it together in the end. Quote
