I told my wife I need to start buying him his own gear to get ready for spring. He looks like a loomis guy

CJ= Cash Jr. 14 weeks old and wild. Can't wait to get him on the boat, but it is 9 degrees right now. >:(

Thanks. I'm thinking if I get a hawg caught up in my beaver huts maybe he can go get it for me. ;D

Make sure he passes the test.  Leave him alone on your boat with a Loomis rod on the deck.  Come back in 2 hours and see if the cork is still intact.  ;D

I think we will have to wait on that test. He is not ready for that ;D ;D

I had a black lab that loved the water. I'm talking below freezing ice conditions and she would still jump in if I didn't stop her. She also loved the boat, but oh she would freak out when she had to potty. There is no doubt in my mind if you want a hunting and fishing buddy for all conditions hot or cold then a lab is the perfect dog.

I now have dachshund AKA wiener dog and I love him more then anything. The only problem is he is very short furred and gets cold. It doesn't seem to stop him in early spring though out in the ponds. He chases our lures, upset that we don't have a new fish for him to play with every time (some of the pounds need thinning out). He gets himself socked but won't swim for the most part and he ends up shacking like he's on PCP or something. He chases everything from birds to snakes. I love the little guy but he's more of a handful outside then a lab.
