I agree it would probably be cheaper to just move to Florida than build a indoor pond. What license plates have you been seeing lately in your part of the state? I have been seeing lots of license plates from Texas, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Georgia.

Ive been seeing a lot of texas plates too ,  and Tennessee for some reason. We always see a lot of Georgia ,the Carolinas and virginia.

I honestly havent been seeing as many northern states plates lately. And Im on I-95 almost daily . Maybe the Exodus is finally slowing down.

If you build it, they will come.

An indoor pond for fishing would be a hit in the northern states in the winter.

You do not see many cars with northern license plates in Jacksonville? I have seen every state that borders the Great Lakes this month alone in South Florida. Have seen the far NorthWest states every once in a while including Alaska license plates.I see most of these northern license plates while driving on I-75, maybe they prefer this highway to drive down to South Florida. West Palm Beach is where I see the most out of state license plates but I see plenty of them in Broward and Miami-Dade county. I understand why they come here since we have very nice winter weather. No need to build indoor ponds here and the bass bite every day of the year.Besides fishing in a indoor pond would not give the real outdoor experience that most of us enjoy while bass fishing.

I think its a great idea.  Netherlands is building indoor golf course.   I've been to indoor ski slope in Dubai.  People thought those guys were crazy, too.

Why not?

Not saying it isn't a cool idea. Id go if I could afford it.

And I'm not saying I don't see any northern plates. It just seems to be less than its been. New Jersey / new york are the most common up here.

If I were super rich, I'd think about it.  But then not do it because with infinite money I could fly and stay (almost) anywhere I wanted.  If i had a skin allergy to the sun, then, yes, I'd do it.

I do occasionally have occasional dreams where I'm fishing inside a house-like the house has flooded but it still has rooms, etc.  I never catch anything, though.  Few of my fishing dreams include actual fish. :  (
