Wait, did he get caught?

He got caught on camera , he's still on the llam.

His last log in on the TT Forum was yesterday evening @ 6:07 PM, so he's still around. I'm quite sure he's lurking and following this thread closely.

I'm just amazed how the guy had the time to neatly coordinate all his gear between ripping Cabelas, Wally World, BPS-allegedly, listing ads, responding to sales inquiries, shipping sold gear, and helping guys out on the boards.  My only guess is because BPS and Cabelas closes at 9pm.   :-?

Most retailers focus their "loss prevention" (theft) efforts on employees and let customers walk all over them with ridiculously liberal return policies. There are many times the customer is NOT always right and it could be better for your bottom line to tell them to take a hike rather than eat crap. Let them go poison someone else's (your competitor) business.

There used to be a chain of home improvement stores out here in the Mid Atlantic region called Channel Home Centers. My wife worked there and told me how customers would walk in empty handed, go and pick an item off of the shelf and take it to the customer service desk with a bs story about "It doesn't work, fit, whatever and I lost the reciept blah blah blah" and they would get the cash for the item. The store was buying their own inventory for retail. By the time they started to deal with the problem, they had gone into bankruptcy.

New Diawa Steez 6'8" Compile-X spinning rod from Cabelas for $19.88. It was clearly mismarked, and I told the cashier that I didn't think that was the correct price, but it was a busy Saturday and she wasn't willing to investigate it. I wrestled with whether I did the right thing or not, but what's done is done. Cabelas gets all my business, so maybe it was just my lucky 'thank you' day for shopping with them."

I don't doubt he's following.  The log-on doesn't make sense for him, unless it's a family member.
