Super User Root beer Posted December 20, 2009 Super User Posted December 20, 2009 Yup....which is why i was shocked. He said he always found "good deals".....Now we know how those those deals were achieved.... ;D Sorry i couldn't resist that joke..... My thoughts exactly, ;D I remember on the basspro shop forum he posted all kinds of awesome hard baits in large quantity. He had one of the best crankbait selections I have ever seen. Quote
Super User Tin Posted December 20, 2009 Super User Posted December 20, 2009 What ever happened to innocent until proven guilty in this country? And personally, I could care less how much someone screws over Wal Mart. Quote
Thai Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 Been thinking about this, is it technically considered stealing/stolen good since he did pay for it, sure not full price but he did pay something.. Quote
Super User Root beer Posted December 20, 2009 Super User Posted December 20, 2009 And personally, I could care less how much someone screws over Wal Mart. I'm trying figure out why they gave it to him. If you are dumb enough to give it to him at that price, you deserve to be screw over instead of arresting him. imo. K-mart clearance stickers are different from Wal-Mart, if the original price suppose to be 20.00 and someone puts a clearance sticker of 5.00 on it, it would require a manager to override the price at the check-out line. I've had to turn down customers because that item was not suppose to be on clearance. :-X They wasn't happy with me, but at least I didn't cost my company money. Quote

Super User Root beer Posted December 20, 2009 Super User Posted December 20, 2009 Stealing is always wrong. Read my post, I'm still trying figure out how they let it happen. :-? He didn't "steal" anything, he just simply change the price on things. If you are dumb enough let him get away with that then........errr... No comment. For once, K-mart finally got Wal-Mart beat in couple things. 1)Layway. 2) How our clearance system works. Quote
Super User fishinfiend Posted December 20, 2009 Super User Posted December 20, 2009 Doesn't matter if Walmart did not notice. He still ripped them off, which is wrong. Quote

That's not including the fact it's totally illegal to switch price tags. You can't argue that. However, just as Tin said, he's innocent until proven guilty. Even though the fact he ran like hell shows he knew he was in the wrong... Quote
