Prayer sent, stay by her side she will need your support.

Posted

Thanks everyone for your support. I just got back from the hospital where she is recovering. They usually do this procedure as outpatient, but because they fused an extra level, they will keep her overnight. Doc says everything went well. :) I just hope he doesn't mind writing a letter to insurance about that dang brace. $1700, but they did say we could pay it in two installments of $850. GREAT! All because they had to have a "special" one.  ::)

She should be home tomorrow. I truly appreciate your prayers and support guys. I know she will read all your responses. Hopefully we can both meet some of you all at the road trip in the near future.

That is great to hear!! I went through all the back stuff a couple of years ago. Surgery was not an option because of the multiple levels that have issues. Now I line with it off and on. I wish her the best!

Glad the surgery went well, I have had a few myself.  Just make sure she follows all the docs orders regarding recovery.  I didn't and now I pay for it, then again men are much more hardheaded than women.  Tell her to rest and do exactly what the docs say, your job is hard too, as you have to take care of her and make sure she is behaving.  Good luck
