Super User Matt Fly Posted December 12, 2009 Super User Posted December 12, 2009 Athletes and coaches are two way street. How many athletes tell there coach they are there for 4 years and leave early for the money themselves. If a coach does it to better his family, he's a dirt bag, if a student athlete does it, its just part of the system. How many athletes do dumb stuff and put their coaches in the limelight for making a choice to play him or set him because of off field incidents? Again, just speed bumps in the road that coaches deal with . The NCAA sets the rules, they could prevent this with a simple rule put in place. Its that easy!!!! Quote

When a kid does it, its probably to better his immediate family. Some of these kids come from povered lives. Its understanable. I'll bet money Kelly's family hadn't seen a hungry, cold night in a looong time. Quote
electrikal Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 The signing deadline should be extend to March relieving some of the recruiting pressure and a rule of hands off coaches until after their final bowl game. What if Cinn. had made the National Championship? NCAA should fix this ASAP! Quote
