Hey have you guys heard about this blue spinning light over the skies of Norway?

On Tuesday night, the Norway sky filled with a spiral rotating light that some residents said was as big as the moon. The light stops, then spins into a spiral at a quick pace, and lasted 10-12 minutes before disappearing. No one seems to have the answer as to what it is.

Some witnesses thought it was computer generated, some thought it was a fireball meteor, and others thought it was a missile from Russia (the Russian military strongly denies), and some said it could be a Bulava missile from a submarine.

Here's a few links about it:

Norway Spiral Light

It's my fault.  I had one of the worst cases of gas that I have had in years and made the mistake of walking too close to the fireplace.

It always starts this way. First the big rotating spiral light, then the abductions, then the anal probing...I'm just glad it has started in Norway this time. Most of the time it is in one of the Southwestern states. Hasn't happened here in the Midwest for several years now.

Looks like an out of control comet or meteor to me.

Reminds me of those fireworks you put on the driveway and light and the spin rapidly.  The photos showing large bands of spirals are obviously long exposure photos, that why the landscape is so bright.

If you watch the video, it's relatively small and spinning, then seems to burn itself out. My .02.  :-?

USA Today is reporting today that it was the Russians.

Personally, I think Mike is brilliant for making it look like it was somebody else!

All the reports say it was the Russians. However, is it possible for a "failed missile test" to look like that? Looks to crazy to me to be a missile. Who knows. Honestly, it's probably aliens.

Well now that you mention it, Mike does kinda look like an alien.  ::)

Hmmmm,

An Inter-Continental Ballistic Missile.

There's no way that I can see using that acronym and Mike's confession in the same sentence unless I want to get a warning from Glenn and the Mods.

I'll pass.  ;D

I have seen a few missile shots go astray in my Naval days.   The spiral is plausible,  can't explain the blue color.

You have no idea of the gyrations you can go through when your butt is in flames.  I still think I caused it.  As for being an alien? No habla espanole (or however it's spelled.)

The blue is the main exhaust. It blew a hole in side of exhaust and that is causing the spiral.

I'm sticking with aliens   ;D
