Super User roadwarrior Posted November 30, 2009 Super User Posted November 30, 2009 Tennessee 20 - Arizona 17 99 yard drive for the win! Vince Young has blossomed into a premier NFL quarterback. He has always had the potential and now he has stepped up to the challenge. WOO-HOO! Quote
Boett43 Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 If they make the playoffs it will be one of the greatest stories in NFL history. And they sure are playing like that is possible Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted November 30, 2009 Author Super User Posted November 30, 2009 Next week the Titans face the undefeated Colts. Should be fun! 8-) Quote
Super User fishfordollars Posted November 30, 2009 Super User Posted November 30, 2009 Hopefully they can stop the Colts. I'm a Vince fan, but he has had his issues. If he has put them behind him, maybe he can become the quarterback everyone thought he would be when he came out. Good luck next week. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted December 1, 2009 Author Super User Posted December 1, 2009 Yea, I know it was just one game, but that last drive was something else. For Cardinal fans it's very disappointing to lose a game when you just need to "hold on" for one play and have three opportunities! For Titan fans...well...what can I say? 8-) Quote
tnbassfisher Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 I'm a Titans fan, but this doesn't change the way I feel about Vince Young. Quote
Gregory25 Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 Go TITANS! I hear a lot of people put down Vince Young because he dosen't put up big numbers like the Peyton Mannings and Tom Bradys. What is the objective of Football? To win! Vince Young is a winner, he did it through his college careen and now he is doing it in the NFL. Titans were 0-6 before Vince was the starting quarterback, now they are 5-6 with an possible shot at the playoffs. Dan Marino is a perfect example (had all the stats any NFL quarterback could ask for but no Super Bowl rings and very few playoff appearances. When the defense is not on the field very much during a game, usually means a victory. I'm very happy for Vince and all the Titans fans. 8-) Quote
Super User 5bass Posted December 2, 2009 Super User Posted December 2, 2009 Whooda thunk it? Fisher was going to let him rot on the bench then Bud Adams chimed in and said he'd like to see Vince back on the field. Quote
