Super User Lund Explorer Posted November 23, 2009 Super User Posted November 23, 2009 I don't really pay much attention to the stars. At a certain point, a person should learn that it is the content of the post and not the numbers that count. Quote
Garry2Rs Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 I guess I will be a Newbie for a long time. :'( Quote

RobbyZ5001 Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 I have the "been posting a long time" deal and I might as well be a newbie. Quote
Super User Grey Wolf Posted November 27, 2009 Super User Posted November 27, 2009 do the stars really matter? No the stars mean nothing .It's about the content of the posts not the number of posts. Quote
jamarkwe Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 If the stars have no meaning, then why are they there? I have seen white, yellow and blue stars. Some people have 5 white and some have two blue, etc. I did not see anything in the FAQs about the stars. In all honesty I don't really care about post count or stars, I'm just curious. Quote
Super User Raul Posted November 27, 2009 Super User Posted November 27, 2009 White stars: you are an everybody with a lot of posts. Yellow Stars: for particular members like road trip managers, advertisers, contributers. Blue: you are an everybody with not that many posts Several blue stars: moderators Number of stars = ranking ( newbie, junior, etc ) means nothing, it 's what you write what really counts. Quote
