Today, my bride and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary. Our two daughters created a wonderful surprise for us. To begin with, they sent us on a scavenger hunt. At each stop we were given a clue to the next stop, along with a gift. After the fifth stop it suddenly occurred to my wife that each of the gifts was of Italian origin. Well, to make a long story short, we completed the hunt and were finally presented with our gift from the girls; an all-expense-paid trip to Rome, Italy!

I cannot put my feelings into mere words. How does one express overwhelming pride, love, and joy for having these three women grace my life as they have? I am truly a very lucky man. Thanksgiving has a more than special meaning to me now.

Congratulations on 40 years, and what a great gift from your daughters!!!

Have they broke the bad news to your wife yet that you will be accompanying her to Italy? ;D

Wow, that's pretty cool.  Congratulations on your long-lasting marriage.  These days, that's a feat!  An admirable feat at that.

Congratulations on 40 years Mike and offer the same to your wife for me.  Definitely a pair of great kids.  When the time comes, I hope you guys have a great trip and get plenty of time over there.  I am only imagining that if you make it to the northern region it will be hard for you to leave. ;D

That is great.

For a second I thought you were going to say that you got on BR and all spelling, grammar and punctuation was correct.

But going to Italy is good too. ::)
