Aaron Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 Usually Miller Light or Bud Light b/c its cheap but I really love some Killians or Dos Equis Amber. Quote
ArcticCat500 Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 not a fan of designer beers, my everyday work in the yard stuff is Coors Light, cheap, light, and goes down good. But my settle in beer is an Amstel Light, Sam Adams, Tuckermans, Heiny Light or perhaps a Corona. Quote
CanalStalkin Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 Definitely not a taste everyone likes. Boddingtons. I have tried Boddingtons and it was the only beer that I have actually had to choke down to finish. It had that aspirator thing in the can. eeeew! Too cloudy. My buddy lives off of them. Quote
Branuss04 Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 I drink ALOT of Coors Light throughout the year. But, When I'm working around the house in the summer and it's hot outside I'll take and drink my wife's Mike's Hard Lemonade. I vote to take your mancard away Guiness, Blueberry Ale, Arrogant wretched, any Chimays Chimays are some pretty rough beers. Drank a bottle of that at a party, plus loosing in beer pong twice and I was NOT a happy camper for the next 24 hours. Don't get me wrong, it was some excellent beer, but d**n it knocked me on my arse! List of Fav's in no particular order: 1. Sierra Nevada 2. Sierra Nevada Hefe. 3. Alaskan Amber 4. Sam Adams Blackberry Wittabear (sp) 5. Blue moon 6. Full Moon 7. Auburn Alehouse stout (local) Quote
BassResource.com Advertiser FD. Posted November 23, 2009 BassResource.com Advertiser Posted November 23, 2009 In my college days, before most of team pampers was born, OMB was around 6 dollars a case. We drank so much of that crap that I can hardly touch a beer at all now. 7 and 7 is my preferred adult beverage now. Quote

Super User Tin Posted November 23, 2009 Super User Posted November 23, 2009 Interesting to see so many people liking the really dark beers. The only ones we can really get to sell in the store I work at is Full Moon, and some of the Sam Adams stuff. We have 6 packs of things like Dead Guy Rogue and imports like Boddingtons and Samuel Smith sit on the shelves for weeks. Quote

slider head Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 By far my favorite has been for years Keystone Light. I have said for years it was quantity and $ price over quality but it is really good. When I go out because no one carries high quality Keystone its Coors Light, Corona Light, Land Shark or Bud. Bud IMO is the best beer ever....it just gives me a headache. Side note....My father in law had the ultimate job for 30 years he worked in the lab for Miller. It really chapped him that I did not like Miller Lite (messes up the tummy) Every year for Christmas I would get a bunch of Miller Lite junk. Miller and Coors merged and they were making Coors light and Keystone in Eden, Per my father in law the only difference between Keystone and Coors light is one ingredient and the color. They are basically the same but @ a whole lot less $ for the Keystone. Just when I could start getting cool Coors and Keystone stuff and free good beer.......he retired!!!!!! :'( Quote
Infidel. Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 Samuel Smith sit on the shelves for weeks. I can't believe that, Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout is one of my favorites after these these. 1) Mackeson's Triple Stout 2) Duck-rabbit Porter 3) Sam Adams Winter Lager Quote
llPa1nll Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 If Im going to drink a beer its got to be good. Quality is in the drivers seat over quantity. My absolute favorite is straight out of Germany, Schneider's Wiesen Edel-Weisse. Notable mentions; Magic Hat #9, Harpoon UFO, Wachusset Blueberry Ale, Smithwicks, Any of the Sam Adams Seasonal Brews, Blue Moon, Guiness Quote
Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted November 23, 2009 Super User Posted November 23, 2009 My favorites are locals from Appalachian Brewing Company. I had a beer the other day that I thought was really good. Founders Breakfast Stoudt. Chocolate and coffee notes, very nice. Quote

dave Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 Blue Moon Belgian White Ale, Yuengling I am not sure though how Sam Adams and Coors Lite can possibly be mentioned in the same sentence together, let alone the same thread. looking4structure, I thought all those but Heineken were light beers? : Quote
dave Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 Guinness, Dos Equis, Bud Select, Bud Light, Horse Pee, and though not a beer, Strongbow is pretty good. Kent, I think this is the regular Bud. It was in the right order. Quote
