Super User 5bass Posted November 13, 2009 Author Super User Posted November 13, 2009 Well 5 bass, what did you pick? Like any of it? Still listening to some of them. I hit up Lamb of God first because of the rave reviews here and I really liked the guitar riffs....but when they started screaming uncontrollably, it kind of ruined it for me. I let my son borrow my iPod so I havent actually put anything on it yet. Quote

Lamb of God's singer, Randy Blythe, is one of, if not the best metal vocalists you will come across. Quote
Super User 5bass Posted November 13, 2009 Author Super User Posted November 13, 2009 I dont doubt it, I just dont get into the screaming. Maybe I need to listen to more of their songs....the few I've heard so far were nothing but screaming. If they would do some instrumentals, I could probably deal with it. ;D Quote

Infidel. Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 Check out Black Tide. They aren't the mix of Megadeth, Metallica, and Guns and Roses that the billboard on the side of the Roxy promised them to be but they are good. Quote

Infidel. Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 It's close but the billboard read "Megadeth riffage, Metallica brutality, and Guns N' Roses melodicism". Any band that really filled that bill would be EPIC! Black Tide is good but not that good. Quote
