Tampa Bay???  I knew the Pack was in trouble, but not to this extent.

McCarthy has lost the locker room, and Ted Thompson, well, enough said.

What this young, stupid team needs is a guy like Bill Cowher to beat the crap out of them.

I've got a suggestion for head coach..... You need a person who is new to the professional level. Say a college level coach. Someone who can come in and make a change to to your team.

I nominate "Rich-Rod"...... For the love of Christ.....

PLEASE!

Even Rogers needing to take credit for some of his sacks, there is still no reason for 30 something.  And after that little act Jolly pulled against the Vikings he needs a jacking too.  That head butt was just plain stupid.  Powder Puff protection, mistakes, and missed tackles seem to be the "go to" game plan for the Pack.

Take account for his sacks? Our tackles are playing like little girls!

An did you even watch the game, jolly didnt even freaking head butt him. Which he did shove him, but the other guy was in his face so i dont blame him much.

Yup, you got me on Jolly, I misspoke.  It don't matter if that guy was in his face, Jolly was walking away once and should have kept going.  That play was huge and so was that penalty he got us.  As far as Rogers taking credit for some of his sacks, I stand by that too.  I can count a handful of them where he should have gotten rid of the ball sooner.  I'm not dissing Rogers, I'm just saying that 30+ more allowed sacks by his line is unacceptable.  Hence the reference to his powder puff protection.

That's not far-fetched. Gruden was the receivers coach under Holmgren here in the 90's. I still want Bill Cowher. But heck, at this point I'd take you Kent.

Penalty or not, McCarthy should have ripped Jolly's throat out. Period. That was four BIG points.

Thompson's drafts are why the O-line stinks.  Many high draft picks doing nothing.  Colledge was a second rounder, etc.

From the pan into the fire, that hurts Glenn.  I think him and McCarthy have been passing notes.

This team was 13-3 two seasons ago with Brett.   Brett is gone, so keeping Brett is no longer an option.

In all fairness, this is Rodgers second full season and the Packers have scored in droves off and on.

I haven't looked at the whole season, 2 of those losses was to divison winner from last year, Minnesota, and Minnesota won the divison with 2 QB's playing different stretches, now they have Favre pulling the trigger, and he's healthy thus far.

Seems to me, allowing Rodgers to mature on the field and getting some defensive help would be the quickiest cure in GB.   I don't think coaching is the whole story.

Is Holmgren coming back an option?

We don't want him back. Also, big rumors about him going to the Browns.

The quickest cure would be: two franchise, bookend O-tackles; a coach the players listen to, fear/respect; and someone else to assist Thompson on draft day.

Oh yea, did I mention most of us hate Holmgren?

What did Holmgren do to rile the fans of GB?

Was unaware he left on bad terms.

He was still coaching here, during a Super Bowl year at that, and there were a ton of leaks he wanted to go to Seattle.  His main objective in his last two years in GB was not the Pack, not winning the Super Bowl, but working out a contract with Seattle.

He would have Packer Promo's like "Bring your pooch to the stadium in a Packer jersey and get a free popcorn".
