Super User Bassn Blvd Posted October 20, 2009 Super User Posted October 20, 2009 Did you watch Taylor Swift on Crossroads with Def Leppard tonight? I still think her vocals get drowned by Def Leppard but I don't care. She's also doing SNL in November. Here's the question. Which would you choose? 8 hours fishing with KVD on the lake of your choice OR An entire weekend getaway with just yourself and Taylor anywhere in the world. (travel time excluded) Quote
done Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 LOL, I think I would take the fishing. I would have more fun, have more in common with the person I was with. Plus, I would not have to come home pack my things and only get to see my kids on the weekends. Quote
Super User Tin Posted October 20, 2009 Super User Posted October 20, 2009 Call me crazy, but I don't find a squinty-eyed girl with no t or a attractive... Quote
done Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 Call me crazy, but I don't find a squinty-eyed girl with no t or a attractive... I think she is attractive, however, another thing you have to consider to if you are not married, he is not talking about a night with her. he is talking about a long trip. Which means, you will have to spend time conversing, finding common ground, etc. I just cannot see me having a lot to talk about with a 19 yr old girl. As a father of 4 daughters I would also consider what I was doing an affront and disrespectful to her father (me being 35 and all). So in the end I would be stuck on a trip, without any fishing, or any real conversation, she would be miserable too. The whole time I would be thinking, "man...I could have been fishing." Quote
Super User Tin Posted October 20, 2009 Super User Posted October 20, 2009 Well if I don't find her attractive I wouldn't want to talk to her either. ;D Quote
Pitchinkid Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 Can i trade Taylor Swift for Megan Fox. Then the answer would be easy. Quote
done Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 Now...if I could get Taylor Swift to watch my kids, then take my wife on the trip, that would change my answer. Quote

Kanye might show up. ;D He'd have to get past the dog and if that did not work, I'd give Taylor the keys to the gun safe. She's a southern girl, she has to know how to shoot. Unlike California, NC is a bit less restrictive on the use of fire arms. We're not Texas but we aim to be someday. Quote

My wife is just fun as heck. I can guarantee you we'd have a ball. Probably even get her to do a little bit of fishing wherever we went to, or at least I would fish and she would sun herself on the boat, or in a chair nearby. Quote
Big Phish Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 Yes Robby she's 18, I believe 19 in fact. Any male who would turn her down to go fishing is insane. Quote

Super User Tin Posted October 20, 2009 Super User Posted October 20, 2009 I'm with you Wayne, she does nothing for me. :-/ Quote
-nick- Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 Only reason I can think of NOT taking the weekend with taylor swift is if you swing the other way. haha I wouldn't hesitate with that answer, taylor swift is gorgeous. Much sexier than kvd catching a couple bass. ;D Quote
Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted October 20, 2009 Super User Posted October 20, 2009 From the looks of it, you two could swap hair care secrets all weekend long. How fun!!! Oh, happy day!!! ;D Quote
Big Mike in Fl Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 if it were carrie underwood, I'd be all over the weekend, but taylor doesn't really do it for me either Quote
aceman387 Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 i guess I'm gonna go with fishing with kvd because i could learn alot. i know Taylor is of legal age but she still looks 16 and come on I'm 48. about the only thing i would wanna ask her is , so Taylor, how well do you know faith hill? . besides the last time i had someone taylor's age looking at me was at the grocery store i saw her look my way a couple of times and of course my mind is thinking all kinds of things . finally she walked up to me and says , excuse me mister, do you know what time it is? .fantasy spoiled! Super User KYntucky Warmouth Posted October 20, 2009 Super User Posted October 20, 2009 Taylor Swift is really cute, the squinty cat eyes bug me a bit but she is adorable. However, I can't really imagine a trip with someone I don't really know, I'm kinda shy. I don't imagine we'd have much to talk about. I don't think the conversation would be very heavy with KVD either but you have a little common interests there. Can I trade KVD for Iaconelli or Aaron Martens? KVD is great, don't get me wrong, but I find Iaconelli and Martens to be more versatile in adverse conditions and they seem to fish more my style so I feel they could be more beneficial to me. I would also imagine that fishing behind KVD would be a little tough. If it has to be KVD then I would choose KY Lake with him. Quote
Super User Tin Posted October 20, 2009 Super User Posted October 20, 2009 Wow, we must all be fishing geeks because my count is 7 to 2, fishing over Taylor. Quote
swilly78 Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 Fishing for sure. I dont need to waste an entire weekend making another woman hate my guts! : Quote
drmnbig Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 I'll take the trip with KVD. My 4 y/o daughter thinks Taylor is like God and she would kill me if she couldn't go. Quote
