Shad_Master Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 Has anyone ever heard of these things? They look like Lady Bugs, but I have heard them called Halloween Bugs because they tend to come out this time of year. Right now I am looking out the window at something that looks like an Alfred Hitchcock movie - millions of those little cirtters crawling all over the houses in this neighborhood. What are they? Is there any way to get rid of 'em? Quote
frogtog Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 You need to leave that area immediately, don't stay another minute you are being invaded by California Raisins. Quote
tipptruck1 Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 It sounds like a Asian Lady Beetles. They swarm and die in your house. We had them in Iowa and were just starting to get them here in WI. http://www.ca.uky.edu/ENTOMOLOGY/entfacts/ef416.asp Quote

Shad_Master Posted October 20, 2009 Author Posted October 20, 2009 Yeah, I kinda figured out that's what they are - pulled out the shop vac and sucked up about 10 pounds of 'em yesterday evening. Today it is cloudy and rainy and they are no where to be seen - wierd! Quote
