Super User KU_Bassmaster. Posted September 8, 2009 Super User Posted September 8, 2009 Seriously, I see the Chiefs being lucky to go 3-13. They could lose every game, but I don't think the Raiders will allow that to happen. You know what's ironic .... I bet the Raiders are saying the same thing about us. ;D ;D I think we are going to have a hell of a year and go .... 5-12 ;D ;D That includes 1 surprise win. Maybe Baltimore Week 1? Pittsburgh week 11? Quote

Kenny418 Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 I am very sad that no one has said the Bengals are their team. Come on guys. Bengals------- 10-6 Quote
Eddie Munster Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 Steelers finish 14-2, get home field throughout the playoffs and win it all.............again. Quote

I will be rooting against the Raiders all year...the worse they do...the better the draft pick the Pats get for Seymour. I would love to see a 0-16 and it is very possible. Their 3 chances of winning are against the Chefs twice and Bengals. Quote

Siebert Outdoors Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 The Rams are relying on a new coach, a revamped o-line, an aging former pro-bowl quarterback, an electrifying but injury prone running-back, and wide recievers I've never heard of. Hard to predict what this team will be. I do believe the rest of the NFC West is as good as (Cardinals) or better than (Niners, Seahawks) last year...so I'm gonna go with 4-12. I agree with your assessment but the record will be 15-1. The Rams will surprise everyone. I think the Rams will be along the lines of 4-12 Quote
llPa1nll Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 Patriots 11-5, Id say better but after 6 of last years starting defensive players arent here, its a big question mark how good/bad this defense will be. I dont see that much of an issue winning the division. However going deep in the playoffs is another story with a very big question mark on the defense side of the ball. Lets just hope that Mr Brady stays healthy like longer than the 1st quarter, unlike last year. Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted September 9, 2009 BassResource.com Administrator Posted September 9, 2009 I love the beginning of the NFL season. Everybody is so optimistic about their favorite team - some maybe too optimistic. But at 0-0, anything can happen. As for my favorite team, the Seahawks, there's a LOT of new variables with this year's team that makes it hard to predict anything. An entirely new coaching staff, a ton of new players, revamped offense and defense....all untested except in the pre-season. And even though they were 4-0, I know that doesn't mean much. That said, on paper they should be one of the first teams to clinch their division. But their performance in the playoffs depends on who is healthy at the end of the season. Should be an interesting ride. Quote

1inStripes Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 10-6 is what I was thinking as well looking4structure. Matt Fly, one big improvement for the Cowboys was letting go of Roy Williams. That was only about 2 years over do and a big upgrade defensively right there IMO. Quote

I sure hope they go 0-16, because that way i can go and watch teams play cheap!!! We over there often (two hour drive). An we can litterally show up 15 minutes before game and get 10-30 dollar tickets and walk in before game starts lol. Last year we watched them play the browns for 10 dollar tickets, Miami for 30 dollar tickets (2nd row seats ) and we watched them play the seahawks for 17 dollar tickets. Its nice to watch pros play for 20 bucks haha. Quote

TommyBass Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 The Colts!!!....... 13-3. They don't have the worst schedule ever but its hard to win them all. I like how most analysts write them off because of the coaching changes, I think its hilarious. They will be as good as ever this year, Marvin was slacking to the 2nd and 3rd option receiver in the last two years anyway. Quote
bocabasser Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 dolphins 10-6 with a sweep of the pats. the last time the fins went 4-0 in pre-season we went 10-6 and won the first playoff game. we got crushed by the broncos who eventually ended up winning it all. watch out for #91 cameron wake. he is a monster. jason taylor will also have an amazing year.
