Super User .dsaavedra. Posted October 12, 2009 Author Super User Posted October 12, 2009 He is a freaky, weird bastich... But I dig his music. wow i'm suprised to see this coming from you of all people haha. but yeah i agree! he is a strange one. but from interviews and things like that he seems like a very down to earth guy (maybe?) and has good values. the music is just great! Fish Man Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 i dont like alot of the subject matter in some of his songs and his religious views but for me i just respect him as a musician and try to keep that stuff on the side. and yeah if you listen to him talk he is really intelligent Quote
Super User grimlin Posted October 12, 2009 Super User Posted October 12, 2009 I don't know about good values....because it doesn't show in his songs. If you ever been to his concert they are even worst.... However don't under estimate this guys intelligent. He almost needs to be because of some of those songs he sings about.Even his actions in concerts can get him into some serious trouble. If anybody has watched that movie "Nightmare before Christmas" He did "This is Halloween" song. Quote

Exactly, his performances almost show his intelligence though, he is smart enough to realize that being "out there" and contoversial is what gets you noticed and what leads to record sales. Quote

I think he is a very intelligent man, and is a master when it comes to marketing himself. Personally I'm not a big fan of his music but I love how he gets under peoples skin. Quote
FishingBuds Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 Is it true he removed some of his ribs to get to something? Quote
Pitchinkid Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 "When a dudes getting bullied and shoots up your school, and they blame it on Marilyn, and the heroin, but where were the parents at, and look where its at. Middle america, now its a travesty, now its so sad to see." - Eminem Eminem and Marilyn both took alot of heat for there lyrics and there image. Both are extremely talented and intelligent. Quote

bmadd Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 I'm a fan of his music. If anyone hasn't looked at his art they need to do that as well. It's like his music, pretty different but can be appreciated. Quote

Truly though, for the superstars it is about more than music. It is also a big part, the show. I mean it they dressed up business casual, sat on a stool and sang their songs, well, who would go to see them? He is a master at crafting his image to his music and selling the package. Personally, I do not care for most of his music, but everyone has different tastes and I won't knock anyone for theirs. Quote

The soundtrack he did for that one movie i mention was pretty good.Very catchy tune. I was stuck in the Insane clown posse music for some time....I can't say too much.... ;D Just not my style of music anymore. Quote
Infidel. Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 I like some of his music but I think he has done way too many covers. Quote
