Left hand side of log near the shady area.  His tail is pointed toward the camera. (most people center the subject of the photo so I just looked close there)

Now I can see it.  It sucks getting into your 40's because that's when your eyes start to go bad :'(

Thanks..

I found a raccoon in one of my empty plastic trash cans.

He could not crawl out due to the slippery sides.

No telling how long he was trapped inside.

I let him out and he scurried under the shed.

He lives around my house and visits my trash cans on a regular basis.

We have not seen him since he got trapped in the empty one last month.

This photo shows how well nature protects their creatures. We are sure that ole raccoon is out there, watching us, but we never see him.  :)

i have a family of them that likes to come to my porch every so often......

when my blinds are open they are quite amusing to watch actually, the 2 big ones usually look around cautiously while the 3 smaller ones fumble around...

one of the little ones sat in my patio chair (right on its butt) for about 2 or 3 minutes once........ right before it tipped over sideways and fell to the floor,  it just laid there blankly as if thinking "what the hell just happened??"

......not a bad show after a six pack

Their neat animals, I had several as pets growing up. It was cool to watch them take an applejack in their little hand when eatin and dunk it in the water bowl like a donut...The do get pretty mean though!
